To the people complaining about this video, I think you're forgetting a few key points:
1) Anthony couldn't pull O&A in 1998 antics here. He's in Brentwood, Long Island in a crowd of about 100 people. It's too small a venue for BS. If he's disruptive, they're kicking his ass out. This isn't NY ComiCon.
2) "He only had half the backdrop." Did you see the size of the backdrop? It was 6 feet long and he was sharing it with someone else filming. Again, this is not a large venue.
3) Did you really expect him to go to this, bash the D-list talent and leave in 5 minutes? He was poking fun at the cheesyness of the whole thing. There were no recognizable figures at this "convention." That's where the humor is.
Was it homeless shopping spree? No. But, just take it at face value - a throw away bit. It's better than anything Jelly Tits has done since the firing.

This would take some effort and know how but would have made the bit work. the editor should have made the video quality that of VHS, bad production music (cheesy sounding from the 90's) bad/cheesy graphics. that would have been the bit if well done.
His piece lies somewhere in between. It was not made bad enough for comedic value and it was not made good enough to be sleek. it was just lazy and poorly done.
He missed his mark big time with this.
Why does he not have a real crew? Why does he have a retired cop and a young boy with no experience helping him?
