Opie is the Joe Montana of radio.

Old, arthritic and plugging shitty restaurants. One made millions off Rice receptions. The other made millions off Dice impressions.

Joe Montana was a Pro Bowler and won a Super Bowl before Rice was even drafted, you moron.

Montana won 2 Super Bowls before Rice. I went for a joke.

Ahhh boohoo .swing and a miss buddy.

Swing on Opie's nuts, dick-riding faggot.

Yeah, your football knowledge is really lacking. Something you've probably criticised the boys for in the past. Stupid fucking hypocrite moron.

I've been a sports fan for over 30 years. Bill Burr, Nick Dip and Patrice were the only comics who ever came on and gave legit sports opinions.

I don't like Florentine, but he is pretty sharp.

Forgot about Florentine. His football rants on his podcast are awesome.

Opie is the Trent Dilfer of radio.

Even comparing Opie to Trent Dilfer is too much of a compliment. Dilfer was a game manager who knew his place and avoided making too many mistakes. Opie would be someone like Rex Grossman who quarterbacks a very talented team and his shitty play is the sole reason they lose.

But Sexy Rexy knows when to unleash the dragon (all the time).

Perfect. End of thread.

Trent Dilfer was unfairly fired for Elvis Grbac. Who? Exactly!

But yeah, he is any quarterback or pitcher or point guard that the team wins in spite of, not because of. He's on the mound with a 6.78 ERA but his team is jacking homers all game long and afterwards he tries to take credit for his great pitching helping the team win.

Joe did amazing things, what has dopie, done ? Bad comparison Cock sucka.

I didn't care to find the "Opie is the Jon Gruden of Radio" thread that this is a parody of. But Joe Montana and Jon Gruden both have quantifiable accomplishments in their past that they can point to, despite being clueless doddering old men on tv. The Opester is, at best, a footnote in the 30 for 30 "How Howard Stern made half-a-billion dollars."

I saw 3 of Montana's 4 Super Bowl wins. It really was a Papa John's-F.H. Reilly's slam. I thought I had some decent wordplay.

Went for the absurd with a Joe Montana-Opie comparison. Championship weekend seemed like a good time to compare a shitdick like Opie to a legend like Joe. Put Opie's non-legacy in perspective.
