My muddah would always say "Chippah, watch out for those jewey kikeburgers, they'll steal all your pennies."

Barry Katz is like verbal Sun O))).

does he say anything new?

Language was a bit too salty for me.

Why is Dirk Nowitzki interviewing Jimmy?

That's what Katz looks like!!! I always pictured him looking like Steve Martin for some reason.

I love Barry Katz, dude is such a character. He's actually a super nice guy too. I think Jay Mohr's impression of him is my absolute favorite impression that he does, and I like hearing him on other people's shows. But HIS podcast is unlistenable, he is a horrendous host and interviewer. I can't even bear to listen to my favorite comics on there. He tramples on everyone, and just fucking drones on for 10 minutes at a stretch about nothing. The voice & delivery don't help, either.

He has an ad on Craigslist out here right now to be like his assistant/intern at his office, ha. Anybody want to work for Barry?

Watching this guy for the first time, I think this gentleman would be a good fit in Barry's office: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiqJaPxJgKE

He actually already applied and was denied the job. Barry wrote down "too energetic" as the reason why.

One of my favorite moments in Mohr Stories history was when Jay had Jimmy on, and does his classic "Barry" set up, where he asks the comic about some insanely elaborate, grandiose show in some exotic location, and then ends it with "Do ya know how to fiy a Leer jet. And Jimmy didn't even know who Jay was impersonating, had no idea where the bit was going. He's like "Who's that supposed to be?" Ha ha. I love Jay's "Barry," it's my favorite. Imgur

Oh wow. Thank you for this!

Thank you. Holy shit, totally forgot about this/never got around to hearing it. I know what Im doing for my hour drive home...

Oh my god. This might be the single funniest episode of a podcast I've ever heard. I'm fucking dying. "Listen, we can't beat ourselves up too bad mayn, I mean we were four years old at the time..."

The only other time I laughed this hard and this long was the very first episode of Talkin Walken with Kevin Pollak.

Thank you, Yimmy2. You've certainly made my Wednesday.

And Jimmy didn't even know who Jay was impersonating, had no idea where the bit was going. He's like "Who's that supposed to be?"

I've noticed that Jimmy turns into "Literal Jim" on LA podcasts. I don't know what the fuck is up with it, but he for some reason takes everything completely seriously. The last time he did Carolla, Adam had a quick line about Jim having sex with animals or something, and Jim went on a several minute long response about how he's not into bestiality. I don't know if he's just nervous or just not as comfortable with the LA guys as he is with guys like Vos/Bob Kelly etc, but it always comes off as if he's prepared to do a serious interview as opposed to just bullshitting and having fun like he does (did) on the radio.

Yeah he's not very joke-y on them. I think in just the last years we've seen the rise of "Serious Jim," I don't like it. That's why I'm trying to limit my exposure to just Jimmy's stand up or a podcast here or there. I don't want to lose my admiration for the fella; he's still my favorite comic.

Do you practice that pose haha?

Actually I have no arms, Im just standing between them.

If O&J had a visual element or even O&A years ago I couldn't watch it with that worm trying to be so over the top with his words and his stupid hands that can't stop moving. He's a fucking zilch to watch

When Norton says "I don't want anybody penalized" with that weasel voice and embarrasses Amos & Andy yet again with his overacting, he really reminded me of Bugs Bunny.

Link shithead

haha, you are retarded.
