One thing you might not notice going on is the exaggerated fake laughing at most stuff. When Anthony was there, it was all legitimate. He would chuckle lots at most things but you could sense it was all real.

Since he left, these guys are laughing way too much at stuff that doesn't deserve the level it's getting. It's like they're trying to show you there's still lots of hilarious things happening. When really there isn't. When stuff is actually funny, it usually gets spoiled by their over-the-top reactions. They're trying to proove, hey we used to be in the comedy stations and we still got it, we're not washed-up. This show still rocks.

How about when it's just Opie and Jim starting out the beginning of programs. They try and get conversations going but it's always awkward. It's as if they don't really respect each other behind the scenes or something. Not much laughing going on when it's just those two. Fuckin stinks.

So Jimmy tries to throw in some witty remarks to be amusing but those attempts have a fairly high strike-out rate and usually don't make opie laugh. Fuckin aloof half the time. So they try and stick to topics they agree upon but there's really not much. Gets used up fairly quickly and then they get into the boring pontificating about serious topics in the news. Like where's the fuckin funny?

When they get a 3rd mic in they really try and ramp things up trying to make you think, hey things are hilarious now, check out all the laughter. Yeah but it wasn't as funny as you're trying to make it sound like it was. It really wasn't. When you notice them doing this, the show really starts to get annoying. I couldn't handle it anymore and tuned out over a month ago.
