That's not even one movie a day. I work with people who have good-paying full-time jobs who spend more time watching reality tv garbage. Most people spend more time commuting to work in a year.

I don't think it was the amount that ruined his life but the obsession associated with trying to find and watch these movies. It appeared that he would put watching those movies in front of his personal and professional life, therefore hurting them.
