First of all, what's the entertainment value of listening to this rotating cast of desperate invalids? It's fun to see someone fall from grace and lose their dignity, but if they already hit rock bottom, what's the point? Do I have to be a sadist to understand this?
And yeah, it's shocking that these millionaire entertainers would interview a dirty homeless person or a superfan with autism, but that's funny only once. How many times can you be shocked by the same fucking bit? It's just fucking lazy. If I liked listening to retards, I would become a social worker and get paid for it.
But of course the only reason why I would bring this to your attention is because you just know that disingenuous T-shirt-peddling cocksucker is to blame for this entire recurring "bit." Otherwise, someone on the show would have questioned the entertainment value of this bullshit, since the show is real and all. But no, everyone is scared of Greggshells. People have hated Opie for a while, and I got the feeling he would do shit just to bother people. Not for humor, ie Chip or Edgar, but just pure spite. I really think that's why a lot of the Lady Di and Bobo calls, especially in the last year of O&A's existence, were taken. Opie is a cunt.

I thought that was the bit? For example, The Up and Down Game was fucking hilarious, but the laugh was at the expense of the pampered entertainers who were made to endure that whole reprehensible ordeal. Their horror and disgust, and Patrice laughing at that whole situation even though he's trying not to, that was the funny part I thought.
