Hey kids, time for another round of "let's analyze". Today's topic, let's try and figure out the reasons behind Ant's racism.

I happened to get into this earlier. When I was listening this morning was thinking, hey i hadn't noticed lately that we don't have to deal with opie tuning out and playing candy crush during endless racial discussions. That really used to fucking suck. I was complaining on here back then. This was months before Ant got fired. They'd keep going on and on about racial topics for hours on end, every week there was some new bullshit in the news. When they'd get going and Ant was ranting, I'd fucking say enough.. stick with the funny, and would listen to music instead. It really used to bring the whole show down. I don't remember the exact line but earlier this week Opie said, people tune in to listen to something entertaining on their way to work. Well that fucking racial shit isn't fun. So yeah it sucks that Ant is gone, there's less funny but at least the show isn't routinely brought down by this issue with race.

ok so i posted that in another thread saying hey i hadn't noticed but the show is nice since that stopped. Just earlier I was thinking.. ok what's the deal with why Ant's like that with blacks? What's the reasons.. what's the WHY about why he's like that? Did he have something when he was growing up where black guys beat his ass? Maybe he had a girlfriend that left him for a black guy who would probably have a bigger dick? What are the causes of Ant being a racist?

You know him ranting about it doesn't solve anything whatsoever about those things in the world. If he rants or not, everything will unfold in the world as it will. So him ranting does nothing to change the situation. What it does though is get him worked-up about it and stress him out. It fucking cost him his job.

It's bringing down his current show, it sounds like. I've read in the TACS forum that some people had enough of him going on and on way too much about the race thing and they cancelled their subs. What did you expect when you signed up. It's basicly a glorified LFTC. I checked that show out back then and it was just too much one sided with him and his views. At least things would balance out with O&A. It was just too much of him going on about those topics.

Anyways.. nobody ever talks about the WHY with things. What do you think his reasoning is with why he's got such an issue about race? What caused that, was he always like that? Even just on the show.. was he like that oh let's say 15 years ago. I betcha it's gotten worse. He's just bitter about blacks. Lol.. ya can't change 'em, let 'em be.

TL;DR What do you think is going on there with the WHY about Ant's racism?

Yeah, I'm not going to read all that.

He doesn't like race talk. Hope he hasn't turned on a TV, grabbed a paper, or went to any news sites in the last year.

That's what I don't understand about all the people that complain about Ant brining up race, IT IS FUCKING EVERYWHERE! Maybe he touches on it more than need be, but it would be impossible to cover news stories without bringing it up. I would rather listen to any one of Ant's rants on race than have Opie go on for 30 mins giving half ass sports knowledge.

He knows he has mongrel blood pumping through his Guinea veins and he wishes he was a legitimate, pure beautiful white man, like me.

It started with "Gimmie fiddy cent"

his dad/long island

end of thread

Can you elaborate on this?

I am actually disappointed this load of shit wasn't a Chip roll.

/u/theanthonycumshow has shared the story of the origin of his issues with race many times. Let me explain:

Picture it Dana Point, California 1975: A 16 year old awkward but sexually active New Yorker, whose drunk father only recently finally scared the "pissy eyes" out of him, finds himself 3,000 miles away from mommy and his dolls; he misses both terribly.

Recognizing that it was important for Anthony to have a mother figure in his life, his father got him laid for his 13th birthday by giving him Buzz. Thankfully Buzz wasn't the only feminine figure that was part of young Anthony's California life, his ~~ lover~~ best friend Richard was always there to comfort him during tough times in his formative years.

However it was not until his freshman year at Dana Point High School that Anthony met a girl that would change his life forever. The first time he laid eyes on her long blonde hair, he knew that she was the girl for him. Too scared and awkward to approach this beautiful, popular goddess and too embarrassed to tell his Richard that he was in love with a girl, he spent many afternoons telling Concho Pete (his horse) of his longing for her.

Finally after two years of internal heartache, young Anthony finally got the courage to tell the love of his life how he felt about her and asked her on a date. Unfortunately for young Anthony he waited too long and she had recently met the man who would change her life (and later Anthony's life) forever.

Anthony's heart was broken as the love of his life, Nicole, had rejected him. Anthony was angry, "who could she be dating that's better than me?" "What makes him better than me?" "Who is this guy?"

Then a few weeks later, Anthony saw him- the man who Nicole was dating. Anthony's eyes grew wide because he recognized the man, the man was famous and someone Anthony had admired until this moment. When Anthony saw Nicole get into O.J. Simpson's car outside of Dana Point High School something about him changed forever and he felt hate in his heart for those people for the first time, a feeling that would pop up from time to time in the future.

And that's how Anthony's racial issues started.

It's basicly a glorified LFTC.

He rarely spoke about race on LFTC tbh. It was mostly drinking, karaoke and awkward small talk. He did a few race-specific episodes but aside from that it wasn't really a factor.

Racism is the easy answer to a lot of hard questions. Anthony likes to take the easy way out.

Blinders, filtering, confirmation bias, and some other things. In the early days of internet video sites, the videos were generic and you would say "ha, look at these dumb people doing dumb things". Certain newer sites may be more targeted, such as ones for college students, or hip hop fans. When people watch those videos, they now say "ha, look at these dumb <type here> doing dumb things. This leads to the perception that those people are only doing dumb things because of their <type>.

Humans of all ethnicities have been committing crimes and doing dumb things for as long as humans have existed. When you read the news stating that a person of a certain ethnicity committed a crime, you may not think much of it since the article right next to it is about someone from a different ethnicity(maybe the same as yours) committing a crime too. You would just say "look at these criminals". Then people started filtering or collecting these news articles involving a certain type. There are racist subreddits such as /r/greatapes or /r/coontown that try to collect negative stories about black people. What those dummies don't realize is that you can find plenty of news stories of white people doing the same exact thing or even worse (see /r/floridaman). Since these news stories are filtered, and no positive stories are posted, this leads to confirmation bias.

Then social media came along. Now without even having to seek out videos or news stories, they passively get sent to you. If people start sending you more and more targeted videos or news articles involving people of a certain ethnicity, your view of them and the world becomes skewed. Ant wakes up to a twitter feed full of negative stories about black people, because people think/know he wants to see them.

He's also too quick to blame someone's actions on their race. If Ant was taking pictures during the day time, he would have passed a bunch of black doctors, lawyers, firemen, cops, etc. But he was out at 3 AM of a Friday night, so he ran into the kind of people who are out at 3 AM on a Friday night. Think about all the negative things your own friends have done. Crimes, vandalism, fights, school problems. You know they did those things just because that's what some people do. Imagine if an outsider then looked in and declared they only acted that way because of their race. Think about the stories Ant has told about himself or his own family. Those things happened "just because". If you retold his own stories to him saying the people were black, he'd blame their actions on their race.

TL;DR Ant thinks society/black people are getting worse but he's really just disproportionately reading/watching negative news stories/videos involving them. He also picks and chooses when someone's race is responsible for their actions.

He's still upset about what the Moors did to his people.

The same reason he thinks the Earth is round.

Uppity negroes.

Never been to Long Island, have ya?

[deleted]

These not as bad, but in the 60's and 70's that's where the white flight from the city went, along with New Jersey and the Hudson Valley. There's a term for your average Long Islander, the equivalent of a redneck, called a "Guido". It's a description of a loud mouthed arrogant, bigot, typically Italian, who infested Long Island.

Ant is a guido at heart. Joe is a walking, talking illustration of one.

Words words words.

He comes from a family of idiots. But he wasnt always this way, I'd say midway through his Sirius years he started being less funny, maybe racial tirades are his crutch.

I read it all, your opinion is invaluable to me.

Where in Canada do you live? If you don't mind me asking.
