Listening to Scott and Todd jocktober, Sam mentioned a woman saying a room smelled like coke to which opie replied, " I wonder what cocaine smells like" Ant says, " it smells like cat piss sometimes"
Opie interrupts saying, " whoa......the opster did some coke, just been a while and I don't remember what it's like"
Now I have never done coke but I know people who use to and I don't think you just forget what it's like.
TL;DR. Opie is a liar trying to be the cool kid

Yes I doubt it. He was a fucking nerd. He's still afraid to smoke weed in 2014 (baby hit, baby hit, baby hit, etc.) but he was doing coke back in the 80s? We've seen the pictures of his buttoned up shirt tucked into his acid washed jeans from his college days. Opie never did coke. I guarantee it.

Started a radio career (working overnights) in mostly white areas (Buffalo, Rochester, shitty parts of LI) - Check
Radio guys party hard. I have no doubt he did coke. Everyone did back in those days (especially in the circles he would have ran in). He wasn't a heavy user I'm sure, but he dabbled.
I'd bet money on the fact that he did coke.
He doesn't do shit anymore because he's old with kids. A lot of guys change like that. They were fucking monsters back in the day but then they smarten up, have a family, and are basically straight edges.

I did coke a couple times in 7th grade and there wasn't any distinct smell too it, it was very bland from what I remember.

There is a very strong smell on even halfway decent coke. Since u said u did it in the 7th grade I'm gonna guess someone gave u baking powder mixed with laxative.

It's possible. And it was a very vivid memory one of those memories that feels like it happened yesterday but after snorting a couple small lines I just felt a little more alert like I had some caffiene and it negated the weed effects and I felt sober after snorting it. But nothing really major except some paranoia which weed does also to me sometimes.
But it was so weak could of been some placebo effect going on so could have been fake stuff.
