I think Ronnie also knows that O&A are responsible for R&F's career! Think about it. Every time O&A moved up, they took R&F with them. Even when they went to satellite, the brought R&F with them.
He said something like he really knows radio and has a fine ear for talent. It sounded liked a back-handed compliment. "You're not a good jock, but at least you surrounded yourself with people who are." It was the sort of compliment you'd pay to middle management or a decent but not spectacular program director. You know, people good at an aspect of broadcasting but who should never have a mic in front of them.
haha, Yeah. Eric Clapton wasn't the best member of Cream IMO though (and Ron's thinking is that all 3 members of Cream were powerhouses)...I understand what you're saying though. B

I remember when they had Ron on the show after Anthony got fired. He described "Opie with Jim Norton" as now "Cream without Eric Clapton."
