I finally understand what it's like for those assholes who are obsessive about Star Wars. The hatred for a man who takes credit for creation of something because he started the ball rolling, even though it was mostly the work of other people around him that got his initial idea to be truly great. An otherwise untalented hack who grates on those around him, surrounds himself with yes-men, and embraces big studios (management) when it's convenient while shitting on them at all other opportunities or at the first sign of opposition. He phones it in while demanding to be in charge, and assures everyone that he knows what he's doing because of his many years of experience in the industry.

And as soon as he takes full command of the thing he claims to have been entirely responsible for, fully equipped with a bloated ego garnered on the basis of the work of others, he drives this fucking thriving machine straight into the ground.
