What I like about this Sherrod guy lately is at least it's somebody that's laughing at stuff. Ant used to do that. If you've got just Opie and Jim, there isn't much laughing going on. However.. with somebody black, there's always going to be this whole race issue thing going on. So that's gonna always be an issue with a non caucasian. And then when Ricky stopped by you could tell that Sherrod would want to add in his two cents on stuff, but felt that Opie and Jimmy would wish he'd not, sometimes. That's when I was thinking, with Ant, that's what they're talking about chemistry. Where you don't get awkwardness like that where you'd feel like whenever somebody would keep chiming in with their two cents that you think, just shut the fuck up for a bit.

On the other hand, you get somebody like Florentine in, when there's a guest. You might not hear him for too long stretches. He doesn't wanna be a dickhead who butts in too much. At least Sherrod isn't shy about chiming in, no matter who's there. Then ya got somebody who's doing their job instead of the other two guys feeling like they gotta fill silence.

Maybe you guys can give pointers here for them to look out for when trying to fill Ant's shoes. Cause it's stuff like that ya don't notice, that they gotta watch out for. Another thing I noticed, was them trying to fill his shoes with a comedian. Meanwhile, Ant wasn't a stand-up comedian. They could be barking up the wrong tree.

So what's gonna go on here.. are they eventually going to settle for one person to pretty much get Ant's old job? Seems like anybody so far, would be a bad move. Glad they haven't given anyone the job yet. What's gonna happen there though, the comedian 'll have to quit his stand-up job. More issues there. I don't know.. but whoever they get for the job ya gotta have that chemistry. But good point to watch out for is that would be good if this guy was geniunely laughing at stuff like Sherrod is. And then he has to do his job and chime in, but ya can't get that sense when he does that the other two are thinking he should shut the fuck up for a bit. So i don't know man.. what do you guys think about this 3rd mic void after this many months? What kind of characteristics do they gotta watch out for?

I still think they should try out Diamond Dave.. heh.. at least ya won't have to worry about silence. And he's cheery. heh.. Plus, he's done radio. Some of these guys might be good at remembering their comedy act but they can't handle the radio thing. This is what's causing their problems is trying to fill that silence. So you get too much opie trying to be the man, and then jimmy has to chime in too much with a high strike-out rate.

TL;DR Tell them what you don't like about their 3rd mic's so far, and what you do like about them. So name a person, say i like this and then say i don't like when they do this. It'll help them figure out what to look out for. We're talking about Ant's job here ya guys so quit fucking around before they hire some asshole.
