I've never "looked up" to any entertainers

but there is a certain type that I totally admire. The type that are loyal and honest with integrity and ZERO phoniness. One by one the entertainers, that have duped me into thinking that's what THEY were, are falling by the wayside. I have two left and one of them is dead. Joan Rivers and Anthony Cumia. I'm disgusted.

I'm glad you posted this. I was going to send you a private message later asking for your thoughts on celebrity culture, but this saved me some time.

It just got really cold in here.

You can admire people who display those qualities, but you shouldn't dislike or stop admiring people who come close, or who even lack a lot of it but have something you like about them. I don't agree with the sudden rush of anti-Bill Burr on here (which, let's be honest, everyone who dislikes him now was just in denial since Anth's firing and was playing favorites with Billy for these few months because we love his comedy more than DeRosa's). I don't even agree with a lot of the fuck-DeRosa stuff because it's fine for people to be wrong. Bill's weakness as a person comes in times like this, where he's uncomfortable addressing this situation. Okay. He hasn't seemed to like Anth that much in many years if you listen back to the shows. Bill had more than just playful contentiousness for Anth, it's a weird vibe they had.

DeRosa's weakness is thinking he knows more about the world and is smarter than he is. He's a bitch a lot of the time, but I still find his comedy funny and enjoy listening to him. Yes, he treated Anth shitty of course because they were friends and he acted like a PC cunt, but okay. So he's an overreactive PC cunt on occasion. I still like him despite that. Fuck him for this incident but not fuck him for the rest of his life.

I can think lesser of them without deciding that I need to boycott them or say fuck them on their Twitter. I don't agree with Anth on everything either. I think he says a lot of dumb shit about politics, and I still love the guy despite it.

And if you look hard enough, you'll find plenty of stories of Joan acting like a cunt. I forget the comedian, but there was someone hired to work the red carpet for an interview segment at an awards show and Joan, instead of throwing to the guy as the producers told her to, hogged the entire show for herself. She then went over to him and pretended to be unaware of who he was and why he was there. I really wish I remember the comic, (he told this on a podcast around when she died) but the point of the story is that Joan can be a cunt too. Speaking of Joan, even someone awesome like Johnny Carson could be a cunt sometimes. The way he treated Joan was shit. Even Chappelle and Pryor and Carlin and have douche chilling moments.

If you stopped talking to people who felt insecure about certain issues, or who thought themselves to be smarter than they are, you'd literally speak to no people. People are such fucking cunts. It's a childish thing to need people to be perfectly aligned with my own views of what's ideal. Humans are bad idols because we're all imperfect and disgusting.

How in god's name could you find DeRosa funny?
