There is no way Opie could have made this far in radio, without being able to a) take a fucking joke b) be shit upon and c) not be told he's worthless.
Anyway, he would have quit if "haters" would have gotten to him over the years....

He does give a damn. Listen to when JV and Elvis called him a board op/ He was close to tears. He didn't tried pushing how much he cared about it out of his mind, but in doing so, he kept repeating the same thing and getting louder and louder.
Opie really is an embarrassment for a 50something year old man.
You have to understand, Opie made it because of Anthony. Without Anthony, Opie would be on 101.9 now doing the same bits he tries to bring on the air now, but they get stomped out because they're so dumb.

that's the full clip, Opie's breakdown after being called a "board-op" is great to listen to. Jim resorts to the Opie line "that's the best you can do..." a few times and Opie parrot's him. It's a great listen though if you're an Opie hater.

The best part was Vos said a board op that's on buses(I guess at the time Opie and Anthony's logo were on buses), and the next time Anthony was back, Opie kept telling Anthony how he told them he kept telling them a board op on side of buses, like it was his comeback. Man, Opie sucks.
