Yeah, you're right. Opie has no problem discussing Anthony, its just that anything he says on the subject is complete horse shit. Ant wanted to move on, working with Ant to try and arrange being on his show, checking with Ant to make sure he is cool with archives being played.

How do you know he hasn't talked to Ant about those things though? And I think "he said Ant wanted to move on" was taken out of context. I think he meant now that the situation presented itself to Ant, that he was eager to give it a shot. People took it as him meaning Ant was planning on leaving the show, which is mostly because Opie doesn't speak properly so the wrong meaning can come across.
