The show was supported at XM because it was their "counter punch" to Howard Stern, who they whiffed on getting. Sirius has Howard Stern. Hoo Hoo's radio career got him a major motion picture 20 years ago that everyone on earth has seen. I think Opie and Anthony have been doing funnier radio than him since at least 2006 but Stern has more weight.
They killed O&A by splitting them up and now can get a show they want for less money and less noise. People in this country have horrible taste, so it'll still have a lot of listeners. No Jocktober this year. Sad sad sad stuff.
The further and further away we have gone into the two shows being available, the truest thing to say is that O&A bitching about not getting a studio was the best possible outcome. Even though I loved the show back then, it was getting stale towards the end. Though, random hilarity like Tequila and Donuts Day happened. Ah....dammit, I miss it.

I want to time warp back to the Eric Logan days.
E-Lo got the show, he listened, he loved it, he supported it.
Sirius is shit.

Thank god for whats left of Ron and Fez. I'm still in denial over how the show ended.

I don't understand what you folks are on about, honestly. Opie is edgy, honest and... HILARIOUS.
Plus, management LOVES the new direction of the show, so there's that as well. Sounds like the show has passed you by, mahn.
