Opie Radio following the NFL brand model

Just trying to appeal to everyone. Couldn't be happy with their niche market. Had to be liked by everyone. Now everybody and their tree fortress has an issue. They're getting exactly what they deserve. Reminds me of when Judas Priest made Turbo in 86'.

He should follow his old employer, the XFL's business model instead.

EVERY GOD DAMN MORNING.
OPIE: That was (insert band here), I always liked them. I should go deeper into them. Jimmy you know them?
JIMMY: Naw man I dont, I didnt mind the song though.
Seriously if it isnt Kiss, or Sabbath he has no fucking clue. Thats fine with me but quit starting everyday with a 3 minute music break. Jimmy completely missed anything past 1989.

No, he's just full of shit. He thinks not being involved in current trends means he isn't trying to be trendy, or preppy, both devastating insults to someone from that time. Same with Florentine. They wanted their MTV.

CTE would explain Opie's on-air contributions.

They know nothing about sports ,music ,food or current events . Everything that is brought up they either I dunno or did "prep" the night before. Even the callers stink & add nothing. SSSNNOOOOOOWYYYyy! WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GOING TO APPEAL TO !!?

He's trying to make Snowy part of his wack pack. Even his freaks have been drastically reduced in quality.

Snowy isn't a freak, he's lady trucker with a cock.

R Budd Dwyer had a good business model.
One day, god willing Opie will show up to work with a paper bag, and give us the best radio anyone has ever done!

You are doing this all wrong. You are supposed to insult me back and viciously, too. You can't be making me feel bad.

Fine. Go fuck your mother you cunt. I hope you are infested with AIDS, Ebola, colon cancer, and autism.
I aim to please. :)

Can't wait for the two-hour segment discussing Judas Priest to start the week.

I wholeheartedly believe that Sirius dropped Ant because they had the ammunition to. I really think the suits preplanned to drop Ant at the first sign of trouble to help turn the show into an edgier version of E! Entertainment. This is exactly what the suits want, and edgier news show with the occasional interview with an actor or public figure. Nothing too edgy, and extremely safe while the corporation dips their toes into the podcast world while the show isn't being replayed.
I think Opie is trying his hardest to keep the show afloat but it's hard to turn a stubborn fanbase around. I give it until Summer before we see what Sirius' plan was with the channel.
