Erock: fake bits or real hate?

Been listening to throwback O and A bits on the youtubez. There's tons of clips of the boys shitting on Steve C and Erock. Now I'm curious as to whether or not there was real animosity there.
Erock only recently quit, having been an O and A producer for prob the longest stretch of any other E.P. they've ever had. Why would Erock stay working for people who treat them like shit?
Does anyone think Erock and O and A really hated each other? Ifso, what caused such a deep rift between Erock/Steve C and Opie/Anthony?

E-Rock is still on the show, although the hate "bit" is no longer performed. Opie has made it a "nicer place."
Steve C died a couple years, allegedly from a hanging suicide. In an interview with another show, he had no animosity towards O&A after he was let go.
Look up Ben Sparks and Danny Ross, those are old employees who are bitter towards the show.

I didn't know Erock quit. I thought he was still a producer as of this week and even was recently on air.
I think a lot of it from Sam is jealousy because Erock is a beloved figure and does a better radio program. Opie is just a mean dick to anybody in the industry he could imagine himself as, like Denny or Erock.

Erock has never successfully stood up for himself, either he's just accepted it, or it's a bit

No one left O&J for TACS, Stinky left another show for TACS but he hasn't worked for O&A since WNEW. Sal quit a little ago but just for a random other job.

Oh E-Rock was a premium Cumia bit. He still does it once in a while on TACS

I think Jim and Anthony both kind of resented E-Rock's laziness, Jim more so.
