"You gotta support....you just gotta do that". Just like you did with Anthony you fucking cocksucker.

It's just so astonishingly fucking hypocritical.

It's like that great Patrice trashing of Norton where he says "Norton's shaped like whatever container you pour him into." Opie will just say whatever he can to whomever is in the room, he's like an App for keeping everything level without any interesting peaks or valleys.

In the worst possible way, Opie and Jimmy are a perfect match.

It's nauseating.

Same thing I immediately thought of. This fuck barely lifted a finger to push for Ant.

This deserves all the points allowable on Reddit

great point. Opie won't even do ant's show yet ant drives in everyday for 20 years no problem.

I'd bet that he's not been invited to do Ant's show.

Listening to this interview makes me sick. Opie talking about support and calling others pussies for firing guys over phony outrage, but I guess SXM was in the right to fire Anthony?? Artie's tweets got way more coverage than Ant's. Opie and Jim are the biggest twats in radio.

He should have said "Gotta support, unless it affects your own career"

"It's an open invite."

Ant was getting paid to drive in and chose to live out of the city

He's got kids you know!!

Are you serious? Their employers said you work here and Opie and Anthony chose places to live. One picked a place farther away from his place of employment. Anthony wasn't doing Opie a fucking favor by driving to the show. Are you retarded?

Its the Principle behind it, It's not about favors, its the fact that he drove in for 20 years and opie can't drive to his house once to do his show? But his ass can sure drive to a beach house or Philly almost every weekend? that's a load of shit.

you could show support without risking your livelihood. We've seen over the years how cheap Opie is.

Yeah, I mean, the reality is that they just didn't like each other very much at the end. And they both felt they didn't really need each other. So why would Opie stick up for Ant? He'd probably been hoping Ant got fired or quit for years.

This is gunna sound like such a bullshit response but honestly I would bet that Artie has such low self-esteem that he never imagine any combination of Opie or Anthony would stick up for him because of his association with Stern. I would cut him a slight bit of slack in this instance but I'm not tied to it.

Oh and right outta the gates Jimmy comes in with a dumb question: "How bad was the rest of his body that he didn't feel the spider until it was on his neck?!" Obviously you won't feel a spider crawling on your clothes. New "obsessed with body image" Jimmy now looks at everything thru a lens of fitness. "This guy musta been so fat that he didn't feel a spider on his arm."

Jim was anxious during that discussion as spiders have been known to eat grub worms.

It also seems to me that Jim's statement that Comedy Central called him to thank him for not cancelling his appearance on the show and that it was Artie who decided to pull, not CC that cancelled him was bullshit. I think Jimmy just wanted to put it out there that the only reason he didn't take a stand against them for cancelling Artie was that he didn't realize they cancelled Artie. That's bullshit.

"This guy must've had an awful core to not feel a spider on his shoulder."

Jim lied about the manager/Comedy Central thing.u can hear him covering his tracks.wish opie or Jim would jus admit that as long as it doesn't involve your career then yeah stick up for your friend.otherwise no dice oh!

Artie was great, the chemistry awesome.

Thanks for posting this.

I was gonna listen to this, but on the download page description it has "Vic Henley" on the show. I haven't listened since August. Is this worth downloading, how long is Artie on for? Is it a good interview or just bullshit?

It is after Jeff Dunham. Henley wasn't really a factor but more of a set up man for tone white so it worked really well. Artie and Bobby lee together was fucking tops. Artie sounded great.

Alright. I'll check it out.

If you didn't listen to the show, this is only the first part of Artie. He stayed for Bobby Lee and was fantastic.
