Special Delivery was still on air? Scissors UP

Any ESD show would be great. For some reason Opie tries to give a show to every other comic that's done a podcast before and not a man who has already built a fan base on his channel

ESD was on the channel and they did give him a show until he didn't show up, or call and allowed the channel to go to dead air. I don't know where you work but if I no call/no show at my job I'm fired almost immediately. Since when is it acceptable to allow that especially when the fucking channel went dead. Just shut up already and don't blame opie for every fucking thing. It was Tim Sabean that fired his ass anyway. Maybe when your show is on the ropes, and you beg management to keep you around in the first place then you should probably show up when your fucking show is scheduled. Also ESD is a hack stunt boy that's not interesting at all.

I follow him on Twitter and he said he did call in sick with food poisoning and was told "no problem", then his show was cancelled later and they gave that as the reason. Where I work, yes I am allowed to call in sick. I even get paid sick days as crazy as that may sound

Um he no called no showed and the channel went dead. I remember several people saying something about it. Of course esd has his own version of what happened but it doesn't align with everyone else's story. Sick days are one thing but when a company is thinking about getting rid of you anyway wouldn't it make sense to show up the first day back? Sick or not how bad does esd really want this thing? I know I'd show up no matter what. If esd did call in and was actually sick you call in hours ahead of time. Not right as you're scheduled to go on air.

Opie doesn't 'give' shows to anybody. He makes no programming decisions on that channel whatsoever.

Fair enough. On Twitter he always is saying he's trying to get anyone whose ever been on the show a spot on the channel

That's Opie's barely-controlled ego talking. The channel is named after him, so he thinks he runs it. He doesn't. Don Wicklund does.
