Passive aggressive Jimmy?
11 2014-11-11 by Dannyprecise
When discussing the Francesca and Michael Kay beef, Jimmy mentioned how absurd it is for a radio host to have to talk about his paycheck to validate his relevance in the industry, much like Francesca did in that clip. We've seen dOpie do that, most recently with Jerry on the phone... Do you think Jimmy is being passive aggressive with dOpe?

Ive heard opie and ant use that argument before and im sure jim has too in the heat of the moment. Putting down someone's salary is something alot of people have done in arguments

Honestly, I've heard Ant do it a lot more than Opie, although his felt more tongue-in-cheek.

Anthony's fights with callers were always hilarious. 'Alright, maybe we got off on the wrong foot'.

Or just loud yelling arguments about race. I really miss the old days of the show. I would stay in my vehicle after my commute just to listen to replay, etc and sometimes even keep it on the channel during breaks so I wouldn't miss the return of the sho .
Now I am switching continously through other channels.

I actually thought the same thing when I heard that and I've always completely scoffed at these stupid theories. If anything he and Sam might poke some fun at the Opester behind his back and sometimes say something that's a bit of a nod to an inside joke.

I was wondering if anyone would bring that up. The correlation to what Opie has been saying, since the rise of the "haters", should be noticeable to every fan listening and everyone in the studio. Lol
Your paycheck doesn't prove you are any good.

Opie AND Anthony both do that a lot, usually sarcastically or in jest with clear humorous intentions. Mike Francesa was doing it seriously. Big difference.
