Any other subtle changes you might not have noticed compared to how the show was, oh let's say.. a year ago? But when you think back, you go, oh yeah..

What kind of stuff are they discussing behind the scenes. What was their reasoning for toning down the Lady Di and Bobo calls? Can you picture that conversation? hahah. I couldn't stand that shit so less tuning out for me on that one. I guess they decided to stop because they can't afford to lose more listeners.

Sounds like they're trying to go more mainstream with just the boring talk about shit.

Also what's up with Colin getting phased out? You'd think he'd be in the 3rd mic rotation with Florentine and Soder. Is Colin busy with shit or something? Or is there some kinda hidden issue with him. I think it hasn't gone too well past few times he's been in. And last time bailed out before the celeb crap.

There's definitely some subtle changes going on with the show since the new season that's not discussed but you know it is behind the scenes. Meanwhile it's like the slowly boiling frog.. all of a sudden you're left with a shitty show. lol.

And then what kind of other stuff we got going on. Opie and his viral videos.. he seems to be turning it up. What's he want with that shit, like his goal in the end? What's up with this need for a viral video? He seems obsessed about it like those creepy callers. What's his motives with that.. and what's with this viral spiral company i heard of? Is he planning some type of show like howie mandel later on in the future? You know he's makin moves out of radio and movin up to the big time, the opester.. hahaha

And then there's Jimmy.. i listened to some of the show today. Fuck, you can tell when he's totally not interested in a topic yet he has to keep chatting about it. You can tell he's not into it at all. Doesn't sound like it's going too good for Jimmy on there lately.

My recommendation about his situation? Well, the show sucks and to drag it on till the contract's over.. that's a nightmare. He needs to pull an Art Bell and fuck the contract and just get out of it already. You can quit. Move on to where he can do shit where it's not this being forced into bullshit chit-chat that you can tell he's totally not into. I don't know man.. plus Ant ain't doing too good. I think the 3 musketeers need to all quit and get the band back together and do free podcasting where they can go hog wild with the bits again. Fuck sirius, man. Holy fuck.. Snap out of it Opie.. the show blows. No amount of your behind the scenes tinkering is gonna fix this epic fiasco trainwreck. Listen to the fans man.. they have fuckin spoken loud and clear lately.

Jimmy is not interested in leaving the show. He isn't secretly plotting to bail. He's just a worm that likes his paycheck and if that means he has to sit in a studio doing unfunny hack radio for a couple of hours 4 days a week he'll gladly do it. If anything he's just glad that most of the hate is on Opie and he's being overlooked for the most part even though he is a part of this train wreck.

I think he is being true to himself. He's always said that he rides coattails for money. That's what he's doing here. Opie and Jim were offered money to continue the show. Jimmy decided that money is more important than principles and he signed the contract. Sure, the show sucks and he probably has less fun doing it but he still gets his paycheck every 2 weeks and that's all he cares about. He used to say he liked doing radio because it was a creative outlet for his comedy. He proved that is not actually the case.

Colin never really made all that frequent of appearances. I don't think he ever wanted to. Judging by the podcast he did with Bobby, I get the feeling he wanted to keep himself a little more scarce as the senior cellar comic.

As I much as I hate those retards, they are funnier than Tom Papa. Bobo and Lady Di don't fit with the 'new direction' of the show. The stay-at-home, soccer moms don't want to hear about a retards penis surgeries, or an obese alcoholic puking and shitting in front of ugly betty. I expect the show will keep moving towards safe, clean 'fun'.

the problem is that Opie has never understood how to market the show. He doesn't know how to brand it so that new listeners can be interested. He tries to do visual bits which don't actually represent the radio show and he thinks getting a lot of views on a youtube video will somehow translate to subscribers and new listeners?

they diminished the amounts of retards on the show so they can branch out to mainstream after the show is over and have a clean slight with the new O&J brand so they can cater to broader audiences. Look how there haven't been any controversial talk or bit on the radio, and Opie stopped his douchey shock jock hackery. My guess is Opie is trying to get on The View, he is the "breast" for the job.
