the fucking worst, every single time like he just missed a gem.
i hate when someone would get a big laugh and opie wouldnt be laughing as hard so he would throw in a "...god damn tom papa" or just repeat the punchline.
Yet another Opie trait that drives me nuts is when he uses peoples' full-names when addressing them. It's either meant to be "cool", or it's some alpha-male technique he heard about.
yeah ive only been listening for a few years, and some of his queer ocd behavior; i thought i was being too judgemental at first or I would get used to it.....
Or all the times he tried to get a slow-clap going. Except it was almost ALWAYS in a completely inopportune time that made no sense. Pretty sure Sam was the only person to ever join in with him on it, Ant/Jim no-sold it every time.

Usually it was jumping in on the punchline of a joke so he could claim some of the laughs.

He did a slow-clap today. Alas, I believe Jimmy joined in. Dark days.

I seriously thought I was the only one who noticed that

I haven't noticed it a lot the past few years, but before that, it was common, I noticed it when I first started listening.

There's no need for "tried" or "anthony"
He tries it every day with jimmy
