I never see many - if any - posts saying he "definitely will" have a nervous breakdown, only they "hope" we give him one. That's a big difference. Ant mentions on his show all the time that he is always reading reddit and a lot of it's mean but hilarious. He specifically mentioned how much everyone hates his brother and he made fun of his brother's show himself. He didn't openly acknowledge that he reads reddit until he was away from Opie, though.

It's Opie who has labeled this a "hater site" and refuses to acknowledge it on the air. He's been doing that for at least 10 years with show message boards. "Eat your own, people!" meaning "Don't let people on your message board criticize the show!" He has now retreated to his Twitter where he can just block criticism and retweet praise.

I don't know if they love or hate it, but you can bet every single one of them is lurking here.

I think they enjoy it. Sure, withhout Opie they wouldn't be as relevant, popular or rich if they hadn't worked with him, but that only goes so far. We say the things they can't say. At the same time, it has nothing to be with us being self-absorbed, but rather we are reporting on what we are observing. Opie is not a stand alone fruit. If you put that asshole in front of a microphone without a co-anchor and broadcast it to millions, he would be no different than the people that he has ragged on for the past 10 years.

I don't care what clips you find where he did something you didn't like, the chemistry between Opie and Anthony was the best of any radio duo ever and no amount of revisionist history can change that. And as much as you all want to believe it was all Anthony and the show was good in spite of Opie, you're just being ridiculous. It was the chemistry and how they interacted that made the show and the pairing of them so great. They just fit together perfectly like pb&J or spaghetti on a wall.

That's impossible to say. All we know is he did have it with Opie. And I'm not so sure it would've been the same with anyone else. Opie isn't the best or funniest or anything close but with ant he was great and ant was great with him. That's what we know to be 100% fact, not hypothetical.
