He was never hardcore. The guy you hear on the radio now is who he always was, regardless of how much he pretended otherwise. Anything else was an act.

Say what you will about Opie and his broadcasting ability. But to bring his wife and kids into it is embarrassing and says way more about the commenters than it ever will about Opie.
