This clip really gave me new respect for people who play the 'straight man' in comedy routines. All Greg had to do was play along like Jimmy was being serious, but apparently that was too much to ask.
Tara should have responded to 'is this your first movie' with 'Is this your first radio broadcast?'
I don't know. What is she supposed to do? She was being polite. Yes, she's a D list celebrity, but she's being interviewed by Z list celebrities. This is the bullshit that prevents them from getting consistent A list guests.
I prefer their 'non-A-lister' guests. They are usually more likely to joke around and shit, A listers gotta worry about their rep. Ira > Affleck any day.
Point was, they used to complain about the lack of A & B list celebrities coming on the show. Why would people come on when they pull this shit. They had an opportunity to have an interesting conversation with Tara, but instead, they chose to demean her. I don't give a shit either way, but Opie is delusional if he can't see why 'his' show can't get better guests. And if you want Ira, listen to Jay Thomas At 3 PM..
Jimmy was actually being pretty funny and nice by pretending he thought the sharks were real. It wasn't until greg asked 'Is this your first movie?' that it became demeaning.
I'd like to take this opportunity to point out the fact that this thread has 66% downvotes just because people don't like greg.
Reddit should have 2 separate downvote buttons: one for 'this is a bad post because it does not contribute to the community', and another for 'this is a good post but it makes me mad'.

Jimmy sells it very well for a guy who's tell is blinking like a lunatic.

He didn't break at all - that's pretty impressive. He even used his hands well.

Opie is always trying to humiliate people in his shitty videos.
Can't see why anyone would hate him...

Yea... asking her if that was her first movie? I assume he was trying to go with Jimmy's clueless joke, but it wasn't funny.

I thought it was a hilarious clip until Opie asked 'Is this your first movie?'
They need a regular 3rd mic in the studio so Greg doesn't feel the need to be the 'funny guy' every moment.

Yeah, It's usually Gregorio who has to rely on being a bully due to his lack of comedic chops.

Opie's genuinely an asshole.
