It's been 3 months. They have been friends for 20 years.It can't be a contract thing because Op wouldn't sign a contract that forbid him from associating with his best friend of the last twenty!

Now they've been forced apart, it is self evident that Opie is an absolute shit and isnt capable of being likeable enough for anyone to want to be around him unless they absolutely have to.

Well the other week Anthony said he will definitely have Opie on and if I recall Opie has said he will definitely go on at some point, give it some time. My guess is Anthony hasn't asked him to yet.
