Lacking both of those things, when Opie does it, there are never any words. Ever. Just a dumb noise. Come to think of it, that sums up Opie perfectly.

Yes, I notices this too. In fact, there's an undercurrent of aggression. A passive-aggression, although I wish there was a better and less cliched term; Opie himself has exhausted "passive-aggressive": accuses others it...more irony.
