If only you woulda....

There's a lot of specific Opieism's that disgust us all,but there's also, for me anyway,a complete lack of respect and a lot of resentment that he did not pitch a fucking fit, every fucking day, about his 20 year partner being unjustly fired. He said maybe twice in his phony "mad" loud voice,"I DO NOT THINK ANTHONY SHOULD BE FIRED" Oh wow...that's mighty white of you. You should have come back to the show talking MAD SHIT about how fucked Sirius was for that, you should have set aside an hour a day to talk about NOTHING but that. Or even an hour of silence (don't we wish) YOU should have told these wildly loyal and vicious fans to start a fucking revolution. Can you imagine what a legendary, radio GOD Ope would have become? He could easily have become everything he's fantasized about. But he fucking shit on Ant shit on us and shit on himself. With that goddamned bullshit contract excuse, then overnight saying how the company, that he couldn't stand the day before,LIKES what they're doing. REALLY??? Fuck you Opie you phony fucking disloyal cunt. Ant has more integrity in his little finger then you have in your jelly body. You duped your fans and you lost. Over and out....fucker
EDIT: When I spoke of a "Revolution" it was a figure of speech,an over exaggeration. I know that an ACTUAL revolution was not going to happen. Sigh.......

In this thread: autistic rage.

aka the literature stylings of one Joey C Pantz

There are maybe 20 "fans" that would actually get together to try to do something. Most people just listen to the show and chat online. there is no way there was going to be any sort of "revolution." Most people are normal. Only Bobos do the "radio war" shit.

Didnt like 4 guys show up at sirius for ants protest over the summer. I dont think they have a huge fanbase anymore. I would say well under 100,000

Yep. And one of the people was Bobo shouting slurs like the retard that he is.

Also, formerly a friend of the compound. However the once gallant Bobes completely blew us all off yesterday !

Not an actual revolution where a large part of the country would raise up to try to overthrow the government but I definitely think you seem to believe that there are thousands of O&A fans who would take some sort of action to try to force SiriusXM to hire Anthony back.

No. I was aware of that (and if this already happened why are you trying to call for something else to happen?). And Sirius did what? Nothing. Because they are making more money with the show as it is than they would have by bringing Ant back and having to pay him his salary. It's a numbers game. They could lose the entire show and everyone who subs just for the show and they would be fine. Sports talk and Political talk are the big earners for talk radio. "Shock Jock" radio doesn't make money anymore which is partially why the show is so boring now. They are shifting to a different format.

Oh.. yeah.. Opie is a lying sack of shit. No argument there.

If as your wet dream postings suggest, you wanted Opie to speak the truth, would you also have been in favor saying what a dumb fuck Anthony was for his Twitter posts while fully knowing the culture they're in? Because that's also the truth.

[deleted]

Did you see the videos posted of the fan demonstration when Ant was fired? There was 3 fat blokes and Bobo.

Link?

He wasn't unjustly fired, though.

[deleted]

That's exactly what caused me to dislike him.

Good Lord. This is a lot of writing and a lot of anger over a radio show and over a multi-millionaire being fired which allows him to now work from home and fleece his loyal customers out of seven bucks per month.

Oooh wow seven bucks per month!!

If you want to pay it, that's fine. There are bigger ripoffs in the world. My point wasn't to complain about 84 dollars a year, my point was to say this dude is losing his mind writing long ass crazy, rage filled posts about the injustice done to a multi-millionaire who now gets to work from home 10 hours a week and charge people 7 bucks a month.

Dude, he played RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE the first day back after Ant's firing. Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!!! (But, I will re-sign with you.)

You are correct. its amazing what money can do? It can turn a miserable cunt like Opie into a disloyal/ zero ambition miserable cunt. It has turned Jimmy into a slightly richer comedian. Everybody loves rich comedians- what was the name of Adam Sandlers last flick?

[deleted]

I think Philip Seymour Hoffman would have portrayed a whining Opie, quiet well. Lets hope Opie acquires the same drug habits as that fine actor!

And I'm sure you hold the same feelings towards Jimmy, right? You know, because he did the exact same thing and all.

Did you miss the "Stand With Ant" protest just after Anthony was fired? Do you really expect a "revolution" would have happened? This isn't 2007.

[deleted]

Do you really think Opie's involvement in the "Stand With Ant" protest would have brought even one more person out? I don't.

It's much easier to hold the position of "defender of free speech" when you're in no real danger of losing potentially millions of dollars. Hypocritical? Sure. Surprising? Not at all.

Yes, I'm saying that you should feel the same way about Jimmy because he did the same thing so I must secretly be Opie.

[deleted]

I'm so mad about radio guys

Did you really believe Opie had "artistic integrity"?

He's like any working stiff going to his job for the paycheck. He just gets paid an ungodly sum to do it, which is even more reason not to kill the golden goose. It sucks as a fan, but that's the truth.
