Jim should quit

He should hire some developers to make his own website. He should then hire some animators so he can write and create his own animation that he's been talking about and post it on the site. Then he should host his own podcast and have guests on and have it actually be good.

He needs one central place for his fanbase to go. Jim is so eager to put shackles on and try and sell his show/pilot/comedy to whatever company will take him. Lil' Jimmy just needs to develop his own website where he can put ALL of his content. The site would have a forum, he could stream & upload his podcast their, upload his animation, have an online store where he can sell his merch and also sell his comedy albums their. Just put ALL of it in one place and no longer work for a company.

It's clear the guy isn't lazy. He's been doing a morning radio show + nighttime comedy for over a decade which I imagine is extremely hard by itself. On top of that he's been involved in certain acting gigs, written a couple of books and also tried to get this vice pilot off the ground.

I'm sure he's got some cash lying around to start this website. It would be pretty easy to develop since he already has a large following and it wouldn't take THAT much money I'm sure.

EDIT: I stand by my idea. Of course he shouldn't quit, don't know why I made my title that. Wait until his contract is up and then create this site.

Jimmy's not a stand alone fruit.

Yeah let's all totally gloss over the <million dollar contract and cushy 4 hour a day job he has. Idiots. Everyone here probably makes under 100k a year, working 50 hours a week. maybe you should quit your job

Ps- all the things you mentioned he can or is doing already while keeping his amazing once in a lifetime job

There is no way he would walk away from that gig, it's clear he is still enjoying it and the money part to it is better than ever.

He's currently under contract to SiriusXM Satellite Radio. If he walked they could sue him (and win) for more money than he could hope to earn on his own in the next two decades.

In other words, there he is and there he'll stay; for as long as the company wants to keep him.

This and they could potentially go after any future projects Jimmy has and take royalties or maybe even shut him down completely from doing anything at all. OP clearly didn't think this one through.

. . . which is not an uncommon occurrence here.

Maybe he should get No Filter Paul to do his merchandising for him on his website again. Everyone needs at least one British guy with a Lego-Mancow like head working on their website.

Hire animators? Make a web series? You want Jimmy to quit his job so he can remake Newgrounds in 2014? Hahahaha jesus christ.

I'd really like to see an animated series of his characters too. I could see it being popular beyond the O&A audience. His characters are undeniably funny.

He'll probably never do it though, sadly.

Coke logic annoys people sometimes, but his animations are solid and he already has the characters set. Jimmy could definitely do something with his characters and having friends of the show doing some voices could work.

Eatabullet website was fucking awful and jimmy should've dumped it a long time ago.

Like many have said, Jimmy is funniest when he is working with others on the radio and his stand up doesn't capture that as well. I liked the Vice show. I would love to see him do well and do something beyond working with someone who literally doesn't get him or his humor...or even appreciate it.
