Wow, someone in /r/OpieAndAnthony who isn't a complete neckbeard. Seriously, the term means nothing. According to these guys, just taking a casual stance that sexism and racism are bad things makes you a "SJW." I've even been called one for arguing against eugenics and holocaust revisionism, lol.

At this point being called a SJW probably just means you pass the minimum standard for a decent human being. At least a year or so ago it referred pretty specifically to just "Tumblr Feminism."

SJW: Middle to upper class white person who engages in self-flagellation in a vain attempt to embed themselves in the progressive community. Invokes the struggles of minorities to shield themselves from criticism. More obsessed with race and gender than the people they are accusing of being bigoted.
