What ever happened to him? In 2007/2008 O&A did a bit "Is Tom alive Friday" where Tom, O&A fan with medical condition that greatly impacted his lung and threatened his life, would call in. As some of you may know Tom called in sometime in 2008 and said he was going to shoot himself and O&A (but actually Jimmy) talked him out of it. He fired his gun, police came, he went to a psyche ward. One of the major talking points for O&A and Jimmy was to tell him he could come in and see the show. Then I remember they made a big deal about management at KRock preventing them from having him in but they said they would have him in on XM. I don't believe they ever had him on. Did they change their minds? Did Tom change his mind? I presume Tom is dead but I don't think he was ever mentioned after that day.

Some of the old characters understandably moved on, but usually with no mention of it. I know Frenchie was completely played out, to the point where everyone hated him; but yet, they still think it's a great idea to have Big A in studio.
People like Spaz and Twitchels sort of disappeared. Although I have to say I'm glad about Twitchells. All the hours total he spent on the show; I never got any less uncomfortable listening to his Tourette's.
That's why I literally feel sorry for listeners of just the past few years. They never got to experience the true magic of what was O&A.

It's real, but I think he exaggerated it for the show sometime. He seemed like a nice kid, but yeah he was terrible. "Laughter By Lou," yuck.

According to O&Apedia Tom from white Plains was alive as of 2012. I seem to remember him calling in or something. There's been no updates since then.
