This is the perfection explanation of Opie and Jimmy. I have no idea how these two people have zero rapport and chemistry with one another after about 2000 shows together. Jim Norton isn't some emergency replacement foisted on Opie by management. They've worked together since 2001 yet they seem like they just met each other.
dude this is the most brilliant thing posted here since the breakup, tweet ant that, for seinfeld reasons alone he has to see it, plus it would go right over both Jim and Opes heads
Yeah he's getting paid, but Stockholm Syndrome Jimmy makes me sad, especially when you see him come to life on The Anthony Cumia Show (some weekdays 4-6).
Its makes me depressed how spot on this is. Anthony could be funny with Jimmy and then bitch about radio stuff with Opie. Now that the Cumia bridge is gone, its just two people with nothing in common and a huge canyon in between them.
I gotta be honest, I don't understand people talking so much about the lack of rapport. Yeah it's not great but that's why there's a third person in there every day. There are never any awkward moments. Jimmy has mastered moving on from Opie's awkwardness and I don't ever hear a lull in the show.
I know you guys like trashing the show but this one is just reaching to me.

To be fair to Jim, Opie seems like a really hard (unfunny) guy to riff with. I would say one of the two people in question is a funny black hole.

Lets say they pulled George or Kramer out of Seinfeld and kept doing episodes. It sums up the show now without Anthony.

Just stop listening. I did and don't regret it at all. Every time I hear a clip I thank myself.

"There aren't awkward moments" isn't a compliment. It's like praising a guy for not beating his wife.

"There are awkward moments" is just an outright lie or exaggeration.
