Anthony's Rogan appearance: possible discrepancy?
1 2014-10-11 by [deleted]
One thing that surprised me about Ants appearance on Rogan, Is when Rogan asked him if he called her a nigger (N-word actually) and Ant says NO. But Ant tweeted this the day after his assault: "So, I'm taking pix in NYC & a black girl who was in frame punched me in the face. I called her a fucking "&$;;-:" cause that's what she WAS"
I was surprised he didn't own up to it, using his normal response that when you're at level 10 pissed, You'll use the most nasty thing that pops into your head. I wonder why he changed it up?

Yeah Ant's changing up his story a bit here and there to make it seem like it wasn't as bad as it was. Funny thing, even the stories about him didn't bring up that initial tweet where it's pretty clear what he was trying to say.
2 obdm 2014-10-11
OMG ant is lying like opie lies!!!!!!!?!?!??
-1 Crigger540 2014-10-11
He didn't change anything - it's been cunt all along
2 aaron91325 2014-10-11
Why the Christ would Ant censor the word cunt? Tweeting the word cunt would never get him fired. Writing the word nigger in that tweet is an instant firing. No questions asked.
0 Crigger540 2014-10-11
That's because he didn't censor it - blogs and articles reposting his tweets did

I don't think he would be saying nigger with a handful of homies gathering round. And it wasn't their show.

They showed up later.

He called her a fucking cunt, cause that's what she WAS.
1 Jackatard 2014-10-11
He has no problem tweeting the C word in the past, so why would he hold back this time?
-3 [deleted] 2014-10-11
No. According to his tweet, he called her a &$;;-:

0 metadinex 2014-10-11
6 symbols. Third and fourth symbol are ;; just like the third and fourth letters in nigger both are "g". It's kinda obvious.
-7 [deleted] 2014-10-11

You bring up that but not the obvious lie in the tweet itself? "a black girl who was in frame", like it was an accident that he took her picture, and he was really trying to get a good shot of that scaffolding? He was irrational and I think at the time twisting the story to fit his anger.
3 [deleted] 2014-10-11
That's a good point. But, I wasn't there. Seems unlikely that she just happened to be in the shot. That bitch might have made for some good stereotypical humor for the show if it didn't go down the way it did. Imagine, if Anthony made the whole thing up....
1 [deleted] 2014-10-11
he basically said in this podcast that he was taking pictures of girls on purpose and that he intentionally took her picture and even took several after she said "don't take my picture." I haven't heard every interview he's done since but that's the ifrst time I've heard him admit that he wasn't innocently taking artsy pics of scaffoldings and puddles and OOPS she walked into it.
-1 Somewhatcerulean 2014-10-11
I think the story is generally true, but you can't really trust any individual detail from those tweets to be accurate.
-7 buttriot 2014-10-11

1 iaknet 2014-10-11
That story was so fucking fake. Especially the part where he would ever have the balls to yell out "You know what you still are!"
-1 buttriot 2014-10-11
He was channeling Opie in that one. Especially how convenient it was, the day after the election.
2 ComedyDeathRay 2014-10-11
Yeah i noticed that too. Did he delete that tweet?
2 sheRATCHETT 2014-10-11
Yeah he deleted I think either a few hundred or a few thousand tweets when he was under fire. People were going back and reading all his tweets and using them against him in argument.
-3 [deleted] 2014-10-11
I'm not sure. but I screen capped it because it made me so giddy.

also he isnt owning up going on that white power fella's podcast, when a fan of that podcast invited him to that their party last week he just mumble through the call
4 devilsadvocate33 2014-10-11
Yeah, Ant did pussy-cunt (?!?) out of that, by blaming Keith.
It was something to the effect of "I don't even know which shows I go on; Keith books me on them and I call in!".
Sure.
I don't even know the dude, or his podcast, or how "white supreme" it is, and I don't really want to. It was just obvious Antnee was lying about it.
2 BigGreenYamo 2014-10-11
I thought it was "cunt" from the beginning.
Yes, the "white warrior" who would call someone a nigger in person, and then be afraid to admit to it online.
2 NoremacMartin 2014-10-11
he clearly meant nigger by "&$;;-:" He even did two semi-colons in a row ";;" to represent lowercase g's. Anthony called her a nigger.

Ant's made the point on numerous occasions that if they are "behaving like one", he has no problem calling them that.
He's usually got a windshield protecting him when he says it though.

0 snoopkhat 2014-10-11
calling them niggers when they cut you off in traffic while you have the windows up is one thing. Displaying it in a Tweet is another, not even Ant would expect anything good to come from that.
0 Xicor1 2014-10-11
There's three sides to every story.
0 fart_yourself_awake 2014-10-11
What he said on Rogan was the truth, the tweet was exaggerated nonsense that got him in trouble. He really is as transparent and honest as he says he is and wouldn't go on Rogan and lie. He was forced to stand by his (sigh) tweets, truth or "bit".

"Savage" would also fit that number of spaces, but when it was happening live, I assumed he meant the other word.

Seems silly to not just spell out savage though.

-2 BumbiBestie 2014-10-11
Yeah, but maybe that was a safety measure to not get fired? Whoopsies!
If it hadn't been 4th of July weekend and forced bosses to deal with a "scandal" during vacation, it could probably have been used as an excuse. "I never said the N-word. I called her a 'savage' and even blanked that out!" Except he never got to say anything because they gave him the quick boot.
1 Jimandthem 2014-10-11
He had no problem saying savage
0 [deleted] 2014-10-11
Of course it was a safety measure. He's not just going to tweet that he called her a nigger. That would have upped his chances of getting fired, so fired.
2 FredericaBimmel 2014-10-11
I dont care one way or the other, but he has ;; for the 3rd and 4th letter. I assume that means they are the same letter. Which works for nigger and not savage.
1 rahtin 2014-10-11
He had no problem calling her a savage or an animal out loud on television and on twitter. That's why it doesn't fit.

You know when you tell a story and you say you said something but really you didn't say it, you just wanted to. That's probably what happened when he wrote it on twitter. It's unlikely he would say it in that situation with too many people around who would kick his ass if he did.
-1 45flight2 2014-10-11
except the thing you would want people to believe and therefore try to lie about after the fact is that you didn't call a black person a nigger
because that's fucked up
1 pd78 2014-10-11
In that instance, if he did say it after being attacked, I don't think it would be fucked up. Maybe he mumbled it under his breath or something, but he's too much of a pussy to risk saying that in front of a bunch of black people.
-1 45flight2 2014-10-11
it would absolutely be fucked up
1 pd78 2014-10-11
It would be completely appropriate and accurate.
-1 45flight2 2014-10-11
i don't see how calling someone a racial slur is ever appropriate or accurate. there's plenty of other words. i'm not sure why a physical encounter with an individual on the street in the 21st century would inspire you to bring up slavery or civil rights or institutional racism, or why you would find that appropriate
0 pd78 2014-10-11
Somebody hurts you, you try to hurt them back, simple as that. Words are a mild response to violence.
1 45flight2 2014-10-11
so you're saying eye for an eye. that's fucking hammurabi shit. why would you align your morality with fucking 2000 BC? and you know what i'll even give it to you, words are a mild response. why are those the ones you go for? says a lot about a person what they turn to when they want to hurt someone
0 pd78 2014-10-11
Yes it does. People who turn to violence are animals. People who use slurs are childish. I know who I'd rather be attacked by.
0 NoremacMartin 2014-10-11

0 45flight2 2014-10-11

-1 thesynking 2014-10-11
Just saying "cause that's what she was" basically confirms he called her a nigger not a cunt because why would he need to justify calling her a cunt?
-4 RandyCool 2014-10-11
He's not changing his story. He hinted at saying that, but never definitively said that he did. He later "clarified" that the punctuation stood for "cunt"
2 Jimandthem 2014-10-11
He didn't clarify that, one of the articles just assumed, but you know what he meant. He already said cunt in his other tweets, why would he hide it there?
-1 RandyCool 2014-10-11
I don't remember exactly. Whatever. He never confirmed that it stood for nigger. So he isn't changing his story. He might have meant that he said "nigger" in his tweet, but I doubt he really did regardless.
1 Jimandthem 2014-10-11
I think he did, but it is whatever and I wouldn't blame him at this point denying it, he has his own show to promote
1 wifflebb 2014-10-11
If you believe this you're a fool.
0 [deleted] 2014-10-11
where/when did he clarify this?
-4 RandyCool 2014-10-11
I don't remember exactly, but in one of the interviews immediately following his firing.
-3 [deleted] 2014-10-11
