I remember one time when Sam's mum called in and told the story of Sam proposing, and when it got the crux of the story she says "And then Sam went down on one knee" and Ant, without missing a beat, said "Who is One-Knee? Native American friend of yours?". He also had another good one; when discussing the rings, Sam's mum said something like "Sam has never really worn any kind of jewellery and Ant said "Apart from his Prince Albert". Hysterical. Anyway this was supposed to be about Sam. He's a good egg.

When he is not defending his stupid co-workers he is pretty great and I enjoy him.

Sam has always been far more competent at facilitating the flow of a show (with the right people around him, obviously) and brings none of the horseshit that Opie does.

Opie is a bore and a liar who has been hurting the show for years. So Sam, who is like Opie Lite minus some bad habits looks a lot better than he is in comparison. I don't know what Sam fans see in Ol' Balloon Dick. I just hear a guy who cannot carry a show by himself with infantile habits, an obnoxious voiced wigger tryhard.

I think Sam does great on Jocktober and has had many good 1 on 1 interviews with ppl such as TI. And Sam does great with Whoo kid and Nicole.

I liked Sam when he had less of a presence. Like, back in the day when maybe he'd come in for one segment to smarm the studio up. Now that he's got more air time, not digging it. I don't hate him, though.

I can understand not liking his voice, but getting past that he has the right sense of humour mixed with the right level of stone-faced sociopathy and shit-stirring for a lot of funny shit when he's on. And his parents calling in to defend him against Kevin Pollack was one of the funniest post-Anthony moments on the show so far.

Sam is a useless, no-radio-talent, person. That's the best I could muster.
