Definitely. I've noticed he's been more vocal, more awake, and less apprehensive around Opie. I try to like Opie and give him the benefit of the doubt reinventing the show. But it's infuriating to hear Jim being hilarious as Uncle Paul and have Opie going "no no stop stop" and stuff. It's annoying. I get they're supposed to be uncomfortable with the character that's the bit, but not outright say stop and stuff. It's annoying as shit, just let Jim be funny.

I also HATE how when Jimmy makes a good joke, Opie responds with "You're quick man, so quick, so quick." WTF is the point in that, we all know Jimmy is quick, that's what he is and has been the entire time he's on the show. One of the biggest things missing with Anthony is his laughter at Jimmy's jokes, he always laughed at everything and it contributed to the mood and flow of the show.

Yes, Opie has a tendency to "bless" performers with "that was funny" when they're funny. He's our spokesdouche.
