It was but there's so much worse. Recent example, scream-singing the entertainment tonight theme when he wants it played. I wish I knew whether or not he actually thinks an irritating 10 year old retard character is in any way likeable or endearing. Or does he just not even realize that's what it sounds like, and thinks he's just "puttin' my time in, steerin' the show and crankin' out some decent radio."
Does anyone remember during the XM era when he would go, "BIG BOY'S GOT THE BIG BAT TODAY!" after a good joke? I'm looking for it in the old Louis C.K episodes. It's a doozy.
I never got upset when Opie "stole" something, because it was always at least half homage. It's the driving into the ground part I hate.
