Chris Distefano lies more than Tucker Max and Opie combined.
9 BeerCanThick 2014-09-30
Not even about himself, about his dad. How weird is that? Most people stop doing that in grade school. He's like an adult that still believes in Santa Claus.
8 867-5309- 2014-09-30
If you listen to Chris, it's not just about his dad, almost everything he says is complete bullshit-- he's not a smart guy and he just lies but doesn't manage his lies well..
5 johnajapanda 2014-09-30
Remind you of ME:?
I wonder if he wants to befriend him like he does Soder? If only Soder wouldn't get too high, ME: being a father of 2 kids.
4 JMueller2012 2014-09-30
ME: I would know
5 DRIPSCBW 2014-09-30
I'm pretty sure he's just not a smart guy, which makes me think he's not nearly smart enough to consistently lie about shit or to even plan ahead on stuff that may or may not be true
4 kgt5003 2014-09-30
My dad could beat up Distefano's dad!
9 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
He's fuckin horrendous. I just turned the show on and was immediately disappointed to hear his name.
7 [deleted] 2014-09-30
Every one of these goddamn Brooklyn or New Yawk comics talk about their stupid tough guy fathers, endlessly. Yes, we'll all laugh our balls owff at your walking Italian cliche's of a father. Hilarious shit.
1 packitchofsositch 2014-09-30
One way to spot it is the pattern where every single little (unfunny) joke he tries to make HAS to involve something he personally experienced. You want to make a throwaway couple of jokes about chunky semen? Fine whatever. But of course he has to be the one to discover this horrifying condition happening to him. Is he just completely unaware of who Tucker Max is and the fact that the show he's on ripped him to pieces?
And I'm not even exaggerating when I say the first time he was on, I wasn't paying attention to his intro and thought it was Tucker himself for the better part of an hour. I kept wondering wtf possibly could have happened that they would let him back on.
9 wizardnug 2014-09-30
Yaaaayyy it's music talk for the first hour again!!!
2 BeerCanThick 2014-09-30
It is music and sports blather and the most ignorant take on stuff they read in the daily post for the first hour.
9 islesrule224 2014-09-30
How in the hell is the glass cracked that bad it is causing physical harm. I think it's time for the show to all get otter boxes
Also how are they surprised Sirius wants them back. They are a safe show now and the company pays people to not even do radio on the platform
7 JCP_1975 2014-09-30
Ugh, These needy young comics. Looking forward to Burr even though it's a phoner. Dude can kill on stage, in the studio and on the phone.
2 lostalongtheway 2014-09-30
one of my favorite clips of later oanda was the hour and a half bill burr phoner where he destroys derosa. too bad the second half of that phoner was ruined by opie with the stupid derosa push up contest
1 JCP_1975 2014-09-30
Actually, Destefano isn't that bad today
7 opiesucks 2014-09-30
pass.
7 dxInt 2014-09-30
That's lame to hear about Chris Distefano. I wouldn't be surprised if all 30 year old frat boys were pathological liars.

Don't let Opie's false humility fool ya. I'm sure it is like the first show back after Ant's firing where he streamed on YouTube and said they will do that from time to time but really only did it that time and then once at the comedy festival because they thought it would get people who cancelled to subscribe again. Opie was humble then too and then within a week he was back to calling anybody who criticized any aspect of the show a HATER!! and talking about how management really likes the show and some people just don't like anything!!
8 breadmoccasin 2014-09-30
The first show back on YouTube was 100% a ploy to try to get subs back, otherwise management would have never allowed it.
3 kgt5003 2014-09-30
Of course it was and it should have been obvious to everyone but a lot of people saw that and heard Opie say "this is something I'm gonna try to do every so often" and saw Opie acting sad and felt sorry for him. A lot of people were remarking on here after that show aired that the feel bad for Opie and Jim and they like that there is a visual element now and I bet it did work to get some people to sign again. That's Opie "King of Honest Radio" for ya.
3 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
I don't think you are and asshole. Once something is lost on you it takes an exceptional amount to bring you back.
2 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
I cant believe this but Opie made me laugh just now.

There's a little bit of asshole-iness in opie, the "haters," and the defenders

Is he wearing a toga or is that a dress from Lane Bryant? YESSSSTH
6 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
Bill is making excuses for the Nfl but threw Anthony to the wolves. Interesting.
3 balderoonus 2014-09-30
I may actually have to listen to that bit
3 Slette 2014-09-30
I had to get out of my car and go into work in the middle of Bill's phoner. What all did he say?
3 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
He waz saying ray rice made a mistake that he already lost millions and should be let to play.
4 Slette 2014-09-30
Crap, my mistake... what did he say about Ant?
3 WilliamTellAll 2014-09-30
hearing him defend the NFL even after Jimmy owned him with the "in what context do you beat your wife in an elevator?" after bill said "in what context do you say nigger on twitter?" and all he could fall back on was how the tape was edited.
just say you love football and hate that something you love is under the microscope.
he didn't defend them well at all.
3 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
That's true once he tried to deflect with the war excuse I knew he'd lost the debate. Jimmy didn't let him off the hook which I was happy about. I don't mind Bill but he always argues the same way and ends it with a joke and a chuckle.
6 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
Fuck the fucking fuckers.
2 WilliamTellAll 2014-09-30
when opie said "oh, you referring to our bit that we use to do? yeah, it was on one of our cds...yeah...idk."
"Their" bit is a Jack Wagner audio clip they just put on their cd. Taking someone elses work and selling it on a CD, doesnt make it yours.
6 bdizzle45 2014-09-30

Have they said how long the new contract is for?
16 [deleted] 2014-09-30
hopefully for 4 hours
4 Crigger540 2014-09-30
Opie just blew up Kenny's contract?
4 LukeUsingForce 2014-09-30
Chippa needs his own show.
4 Gator1010 2014-09-30
Ole opie steam rolled the shit out of hour 3.
4 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
Nothing it annoyed me how he defended the guy how knocked his woman out meanwhile he was talking to the show where a guy was fired for some words. It struck me as incredibly hypocritical. But Bill has to defend the black guy since he is married to a black woman.

I love Tech Talk with Sammi Sweetheart and The Old Guys. I'm fighting for Samsung, too, Ope!
4 wifflebb 2014-09-30
Did you like the part where he said the iPhone finally caught up with the Samsung camera? As an Android enthusiast, I can confirm this is up there with some of the dumbest things he's ever said. The one thing I can say has ALWAYS been better on iPhone is the camera.
And let's be real - Samsung has lost its spot as the best android phone.
1 The1Flopsy 2014-09-30
Whats considered the best android phone now anyways?
4 wifflebb 2014-09-30
By most accounts the new Moto X is by far the best Android phone available, and only $99 on contract.
I have the HTC One M8 and love it. HTC's Sense UI is SO MUCH nicer than TouchWiz (Samsung's). Samsung's interface is just about the ugliest of any Android phone.
3 schwm39 2014-09-30
The One M8 is the shit. You'd probably have to throw the LG G3 in their as well tho.
2 BTY2468 2014-09-30
I would say the new moto x fell flat in some important areas(battery life, no microsd card).
The best Android phones in my opinion are the Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact. Front facing speakers, Waterproof, Amazing Battery Life, Clean UI, Great camera, ps4 remote streaming. Sony is holding an event October 9th to hopefully announce the phone for sale in the US(already confirmed for tmobile and for sale unlocked from the online Sony store. And rumored to be coming to Verizon). Of course these aren't exactly available yet so I don't know if you'd count them.
Really, you can't go wrong with any major android manufacturer flagship these days.
1 thrillated 2014-09-30
The Moto X is indeed a star, but don't discount the One Plus One. It quickly became a fan favorite due to its specs and fair price of $299 off contract.
3 [deleted] 2014-09-30
Tuckered out Jimmy is awesome Mr Steam Roller tries to end his funny lines
3 TheRadicalMan 2014-09-30
The beginning of the show reflecting on Ant was interesting. Opie seems to realize he isn't interesting or entertaining. I'm literally only listening out of habit. Any other podcast suggestions? Already a TACS sub and Rogen listener. Any other ideas? This show is kinda lame now.
2 [deleted] 2014-09-30
Def check out Lookin GOOD Radio, it's like my favorite podcast. www.lookingoodradio.com and free on itunes.
1 TheRadicalMan 2014-09-30
Just tried it. Maybe it's cool, but their audio is atrocious (bugs). Tough to even hear and I'm using full WiFi with Samsung S5.
1 [deleted] 2014-09-30
What do you mean bugs? The last episode they were both individually mic'd, it sounds fine on mine?
2 billtill 2014-09-30
I've moved over to Ron & Fez almost exclusively. I just tune into O&J in the morning before work, bascially. R&F have been really entertaining since they moved over to Raw Dog. Lots of comic guests, and Ron is still the quickest guy on radio.
Also, totally different vibe, but Comedy Bang Bang! is a great podcast. Might not appeal to the average O&A fan, but I love it. If you have seen the IFC TV show of the same name, and like that, you might wanna try the podcast.
1 TheRadicalMan 2014-09-30
Thanks. I've tried R&F, but it was depressing (at that time). Maybe it's different now.
3 YourOldPalHoward 2014-09-30
It's still depressing.
1 billtill 2014-09-30
Depressing at times, when they get into Fez's mental state, but I find it pretty captivating. Really enjoyable when they have comics in or an interview with an actor, director, musician, etc. Ron is the best interviewer out there.
1 devil2king 2014-09-30
The Crabfeast, bill burr, ten minute podcast, Jay mohrs.
1 xyniphis 2014-09-30
Check out "tell em steve dave" and kevin pollacks chat show, two great shows, two very different vibes
1 TheRadicalMan 2014-09-30
Thanks, nigger!
1 poundfoolishhh 2014-09-30
On the total other end of the spectrum of podcasts I listen to... Freakanomics Radio and StarTalk radio are the tits...
3 muyoso 2014-09-30
I am cringing every time Chris Distefano mentions his dad. Its all he fucking talks about.
2 PrettyPartizan 2014-09-30
Is this the last show of their contract?
1 dochattan 2014-09-30
Of their old contract you mean.
2 nointernetforyou 2014-09-30
Working from home today. Do I:
A.) Start streaming show now (7:41) with the option of skipping all commericals (win) B.) Catch up on all last weeks TACS I missed.

Not listening live, but, I don't think Sam and Erock have agents. I think they have a boss, unless Opie's contract accounts for them.
2 mikelp1973 2014-09-30
Norton talks about having the same agent as Robin Williams years ago. However in recent years I took it as they now had the same agent.
3 Ptone79 2014-09-30
I think he has super agent Bob for his radio gig but uses somebody different for his standup.
3 [deleted] 2014-09-30
Jonathan Brandstein is Jimmy's manager, and Bob Eatman is he & Opie's agent. Although all they've ever done is complain about the guy for years, no clue why they don't get new representation. He was Ant's agent too. I wonder if Ant fired him, or is represented by anyone right now.
1 Ptone79 2014-09-30
I think Ant may still have him. He said something about talking to Bob to see if it's okay for him to come back as a guest on Opie's show. I have no clue why he hasn't fired him. The fact that SXM could fire Ant so easily and break up the show should be enough reason for everybody to find new representation.
1 PrinceCharmin 2014-09-30
Ant doesn't really need an agent now, unless he's negotiating contracts for things like Red Eye appearances. To waste time to try and get a new one would be pointless - at least Bob didn't dump Ant, because getting another might be a little difficult for him right now.
2 [deleted] 2014-09-30
I'm pretty sure he just shared a booking agent with Robin Williams.
1 billtill 2014-09-30
He could be talking about his manager, Jonathan. Agent/manager, different roles.

Vinyl? Really?
0 fyisah 2014-09-30
I will now declare my opinion on the whole thing and pretend you guys care =) At first i was really a Ant activist and wanted Op and Jim to resign. But as time went on and i really realised that they wont join him i more and more wanted them to resign.. I actually spend a lot of time a day listen to radio/podcast so i have time to listen to both.
As for Opie hatred.. Well i see your point ;) And his shit has really been showing now that there is no Ant. However its not to the point where i get that annoyed at him. And if i get to that point i stop listening to the show. I have given up on podcasts i loved just due to one person on that show.
-2 DRIPSCBW 2014-09-30
lol where is all this "chris destefano lies like tucker max" stuff stemming from? I just assumed he embellished his "dad stories" for the bit that he may or may not be some hard ass dude, but the last time he was on with the anytown usa shit and him calling Dan Akroyd a pussy was funny shit
-1 [deleted] 2014-09-30
