Good for Sal. He was an entitled asshole for a little while after he got hired but Opie shit on him for no reason way too often. Anytime Sal was brought into the fold, Opie used it as opportunity to tell everyone for the HUNDREDTH time about how hard he worked when he was Sal's age. As with everything you say Op, we got it, the first 99 times you said it.
It's funny when you shit on an intern for 5 minutes, but Opie will do it for two hours, its like he is trying to get the listeners to change the channel
Isn't this standard in the industry though? Do you listen to Ron and Fez? Ron, pepper, and Fez will shit all over Shelby and most of its unwarranted considering the waste of space Fez has become.
It's standard for interns to take shit. But the trashing of Sal took place after he was hired. I understand he was doing a bad job when he first got hired and deserved some of it.
I've listened to every ONA show since 2004 and I understand everyone has their turn in the barrel. But there was something different in the way Opie treated Sal, on the air at least. It was uncomfortable to listen to at times, cause Opie just ripped him for the most asinine reasons and then babble on about his tough life when he worked at radio stations and of course, as a caddy. He was always accusing Sal of lying about everything, and it was just annoying to listen to. I still can't wait for the day someone genuinely goes back at Opie.
It's ironic that you call Fez a waste of space when you defend a waste of space everyday.
Shelby isn't an intern on Ron and Fez anymore. He's paid to do that position and Ron does nothing but shit all over him despite the fact he's trying to do his job and Fez's. Certain staff members will always get shit on. Hell despite being one of the best Howard Stern has done nothing but give Gary a hard time. It happens. It's always happened in radio. Sal has a bit of thin skin despite being a good dude. You're fucking reaching here and you know it.
