This video AGAIN. The only time Opie took a beating in a decade gets posted weekly to show "Opie can take it, too." No he can't. He tried to worm off the hook by making it a "serious moment." Opie even pussied out by throwing it to a phone caller but Ant and Jim rightly ignored that.
Do you realize that is the one time Opie has taken a true beating in 10 years and the clip itself is 4 years old?
Eh, It's still a funny clip and I don't think people are posting it to show that he can take it but rather to enjoy one of the few times he got beat up. It's a good thing that there was enough people in there to keep him from steamrolling it.
It is a great clip, but once a week for 4 years is a bit much. This has been an Opie Apology clip for years. "See, Opie takes beatings. Opie takes his turn in the barrel!" One time in 10 years is not taking your beatings!
Yeah I agree. Honestly he should of been beaten up over many things like that whole "Oh look at how crazy I am, I go days without taking a shower" bit. Then when E-Rock says ew it becomes a "lets talk about how fat E-Rock is" day.
It's not that he can take a beating, it's that he finally got one. He even cries "Alright!". He barely spoke for the remainder of that show. He was hurt.
