I have enjoyed this sub for a while, I listen to the show on my way to work. It has turned into a hate fest. Nothing good comes from one point of view being the only point.

My point of view is that rape is immoral and wrong. But that's just my point of view.

I can maybe see the argument in favor of the show being mediocre. Seriously, I'd love for you to pick a random show that didn't have a comic sitting in. Break it down and tell us the funny and/or interesting stuff. Lines or bits that made you laugh.

I'd understand how a non fan might not mind the new version of the show. I can't see how a long time fan who heard jokes in every segment for the last X amount of years doesn't notice that there are hardly any jokes anymore?

To my ears, the show has turned into this formula. Serious dull personal stories about what happened recently. Than serious dull take on the news. Jim tosses in a couple jokes during the news talk and gets a "Very Good" type of response from Opie. Than serious dull discussion on topics that Opie knows nothing about.

I'm serious about you or some other listener who is still digging the show. Break it down and show us to be over reactive dicks.

I don't think Opie's take on things has ever been all that interesting, he just wasn't afraid to make a huge ass out of himself and be a dick to people. Good cop bad cop.

The only argument for it not being a "hatefest" is that "it's bad to do that". There's not much to like about this new show. And I know it's really hard to imagine fans of The Opie and Anthony Show being negative assholes...

There's only one point of view because no one is enjoying the new show.

I was one of the people who stuck it out after the firing. The first week or two was promising. Then it all went downhill. I just couldn't listen anymore.

Canceled my sub yesterday.
