TACS subscribers, how do you listen in the car?

Im about ready to get rid of xm because of dopie but I was wondering how you guys get TACS in your car. Is it streaming or do you just download it? I have pretty bad reception on my commute so does it buffer, if it even streams? Let me know today's show is making me never want to listen to dopie again.

at night click download audio file, sync it with phone and listen next morning. That way reception is never an issue, data charges, etc.

Even the old show I preferred to listen like this for a few reasons -data charges -I'd you click the option "remember position" in the audio file info, you can close the music player and whenever you open the track back up will remember where you left off

You do ( I have iPhone). In iTunes right click , click get info. You could even change the file type to "podcast" if you want too

I just use the podcast app and it does it automatically.

You can live stream and you can download it through a podcast app. The FAQ section on the site has instructions for both iOS and Android. I set it up on Android yesterday and it was pretty easy.

BeyondPod. But any RSS/podcast app works.

You can stream live from 4 - 6, but you have to wait til about 7 before you can actually download or stream a replay.

You can replay from the "watch live" page before it gets archived.

True that but if he's got poor bandwidth in his travels then video may not work so well.

I usually stream the audio through my phone, while it's hooked up to the FM adaptor in my car.

Thanks for your help but when does today's show get updated and do i look in the archives? I just got an account and d/l the rss feed and its only showing yesterdays show. dont make me listen to dopie on the way home and hook a brother up.
