I'm in the same boat. I listened to literally every single minute for almost a decade, and I'm not exaggerating because I would download it on mp3 and listen start to finish. I stopped after two weeks of O&J coming back and the initially fun run of comic guests dried up.

I'm not angry at the show, and I don't compare it to Anthonys show, and I'm not even that sad because there are a thousand podcasts out there to listen to. It just feels...wierd, that I don't have those voices in my head for so much time every week. It's somewhat surreal how easily I have let them go because of how loyal I was, and maybe that shows just how little I have been enjoying the show subconsciously lately.

I agree. For last five years driving a truck those guys were apart of my daily routine. Every morning and even the replays in the afternoon. Laughed my balls off every day. My xm receiver broke a couple of days before Ant got canned and I still haven't replaced it. I just couldn't bear it. I know it's not popular to say right now but I always liked Opie. But knowing that the show as I knew it was over really depressed me. Now I drive around literally listening to nothing. I know I sound like a bitch right now but still...

That sucks, man. I've since found a ton of other podcasts and shows to get into. There's too much good stuff out here now. Maybe you'll find a few new shows to listen to.

I thought I was a newbie, I have listened for 6 years now. I think that maybe, perhaps, possibly, Opie is doing it on purpose to show Sirius that the show needs Anthony to be as good as they used to be. I don't know, just a theory......I also used to listen to every minute of the show, even being late to deliveries because I didn't want to get out of the truck and miss what they would say next. Now I can't listen for more than a few minutes here and there without cringing and changing the channel.

My thing is that I still, after 10 years, continue to download every show but find it hard to actually listen. Where I used to savor each one I now have to force myself to play them.

I couldn't agree more. I still have a trial subscription in my truck and for the last several weeks I've been looking for another show to listen to. I not only looked forward to it, I often planned to leave for trips (I travel a lot) for replay start times so I could listen uninterrupted. So frustrating. I agree with some that Anthony isn't innocent in all this, but I also feel a warning from Sirius would have been enough. Ant and Jim covered for Opie's mediocrity for several years in my opinion, and now it's blatantly obvious! I like Anthony's show and it has gotten better, but he's still one Jim Norton away from having a great show! We'll see!

I'm with you bro. I listened to a good chunk of WNEW and signed up for XM for day 1. Since October 4, 2004 I listened to nearly every show missing likely less than a dozen.

I listened to Op and Jim for about a week and yeah, it probably wasn't long enough to give it a good shake, but I couldn't do it. I just couldn't do it. It's not funny anymore and just feels forced. So I cancelled my sub.

I love Jimmy's Vice show and Anthony's show for 2 hours a day 4 days a week is the perfect kind of time investment and has progressively gotten better because he's listened to feedback from the listeners/viewers.

I went on vacation in mid-August. I haven't really been listening since. I've heard every single show since they were syndicated to WJFK in DC. I've pretty much heard every single show since they signed with XM at least twice. This whole thing fucking sucks. With it being football season, I listen to a lot of sports talk, but fuck, this shit sucks. I want my show back the way it was :-/
