I hate him. He's overrated. He talks over people just like Opie. The only reason that he is so popular on this sub is because of karma. I've never heard him referenced by any other comedian outside of o&a. If he were still alive nobody would be talking about him. While he was alive nobody referenced his comedy specials. In any case, bring your downvotes, I don't give a shit.

How could anyone hate Patrice. Just hearing that made my day better.

Anyone who Patrice was honest with had a good reason to hate him.
I remember a show where he was talking about why he does not get along well with Hollywood types.
He was always himself and always told it like it was, and sadly enough alot of people take that shit personally.
I love Patrice because he did that even some of his "you see, white people (....)" moments I disagreed with.

My favourite is the story of him getting an interview at comedy central

It's a weird comparison, but he was a sort of modern day Socrates with the way he broke someone down.

Even the people on /r/greatapes like him.

Opie really loves the whole, " I don't know he's a local comedian we don't know much about him" routine.
Guaranteed ant started that. And had to stop after opie took it over.

"we thought we'd try this local comic" - exact words after Rumsfeld

Rumsfeld will always be the best interview ever

Did you know Opie loves Colin Quinn's Long Island references?

Might be the funniest shit I heard all week, about to go listen to the full interview now.

Somebody post this to one of the main subs. Nerdy physicist meets aggressively loud black man could be a reddit classic.

one of you guys should I'm not good at wording stuff like that. I've tried to post O&A clips on the main subs and no one looks at them

Use dramatic verbs, like DESTROYS, EVISCERATES, OWNS, etc.
Also the time of day you post it is important. You can probably just google when the best time is to make a post on reddit.
