That was at the Traveling Virus pre-show thing by the pool at the Hard Rock in Vegas. I was there that day. I'm grateful to have met both of these guys that day (and Opie, Anthony, Jimmy, Kenny, Joe Rogan, Bob Kelly, Rich Vos, even Danny).

It was a great era for the show.

Allow me to to be like Derosa for a minute and put a disclaimer before I say anything.

I always tried to give Otto a fair chance, but I didn't care for his shit. Even after he died; I listened to the O&A, Best Of Otto Tribute, and I couldn't even get through half of it.

I couldn't stomach his laugh, or the stupid puppet act. I always wondered if Otto was as great as Jimmy always built him up to be?, or if Jimmy was just trying to bring up a friend Who played mostly Fire Houses. Which I Think performing comedy for NYC's finest is a very noble thing to do.

"the stupid puppet act" shows you had your mind made up. He was like an anti- ventriloquist. I think his stand up was mostly very funny. And he had some good appearances on the show. But to sum up his career as "the stupid puppet act" isn't really fair. He seems like he could do crowd work like nobody else. And keep piling on and piling on. Idk he was never my favorite guest or comic, but I always liked the guy.
