Opie just said to Bobby "Let me tell you why you're as dumb as they come." The fact that this man thinks he's smarter than anyone else amazes me.

Opie has become a cancer. I really enjoyed Bob when he was on TACS- he was funny, he was interesting and the vibe was friendly. Compare that to today when Opie is suffocating any attempt at Bob or Jim to be funny by immediately derailing it.

Could you imagine anyone in studio ever saying that to Opie? That's the most disgusting aspect of the show to me, the need to handle certain individuals with kid gloves.

The fact that Jimmy can say that and it wouldn't be a problem,but Opie says it and listeners get annoyed is a testament to his shitty delivery and hate-ability.

He's probably just saying something that he's heard Jim say and hopes it goes over,and that is what is irritating: "I don't have my own humorous phrases or personality so I will speak vicariously"

When you're looking for anything to bash Opie for so you can follow the hive mentality I'm sure it comes across that way and some of the best Opie and Anthony moments are when Opie brought in old tapes of him to bash. Just shut up.

Vos and Jimmy's roast and even Ant's Dara debacle are in a completely different league of criticism compared to the Opie stuff. He's like the little brother of the show, acting tough and outrageous to impress the rest but one wrong word and he takes his ball and goes home.

Comparing Bobby Kelly with Anthony Cumia and with Opie is just night and day. With Ant, they were acting like peers in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. With Opie, Opie has to assert himself as the "Alpha Male" and interrupt people and state he's smarter and wiser than everybody to maintain his position. It is confrontational and unfunny.
