Difference being... At the beginning of the summer, O&A mentioned the summer would have Fridays off, as vacation days. Then Ant was fired, they give Opie a week, "paid" to come up with something.
Then OJ in the Mornings comes back with a shit show, still taking Fridays off as vacay.
Then basically when the realization sets in for Opie that he's not going to be renewed in October, he's taking all his available vacation time now as a "fuck you" to Sirius. We've all done it... When you know you're going to quit a job, you use up as much vacay as possible before quitting.
Stern started off on Sirius 5 days a week and after a few months said "I don't feel like showing up on Fridays"... which then turned into "Thursdays and Fridays" along with weeks and weeks off at a time when there was a one day holiday coming around... And dipshit stern fans still keep sucking his shriveled pinkie dick.
The day or two before they took off their first Friday of this summer they briefly discussed it and I may be wrong but I'm almost certain they mentioned they'd do Friday shows again after Labor Day.

As I recall, they both O+A said they would do it too, if they could. Also that (for O+J) the Fridays come out of allotted vacation anyway.
