help me, need something new

I'm from the UK and discovered OnA 3 years ago. Since then its been a real blast, in the UK we have nothing like this. So I loved it instantly.
But I now feel like I've listened to every show that has the friends of show multiple times. Namely Patrice, Colin, Bobby, Vos, Burr, CK, etc. I'm honestly tired of it I think.
I need something new to listen to, something ground-breaking like old OnA. Does anything like that even exist?

If you are not familiar with Ron and Fez, I find most disillusioned O&A fans find Ron & Fez refreshing and just as funny without half of the "mean-ness" for lack of a better term.
Ive been listening for years and still cannot decide if the show is the greatest "theatre of the mind" entertainment there ever was or the sickest, most disturbing psychological exploration of a confused man over 20 years. Its probably a mixture of both, but most here will agree: Ron Bennington is the best there is in the radio business.

Ron and Fez can be a little slow as O and A are more intense and in your face, while R and F is more subtle, more intelligent.
Seeing as though OP is from the UK, he may like the dryer comedy style.
I upvote and second you, Ron is the one and only Radio god, no one can match his instinct, and he is so good, it is hard to tell when he is kidding or serious.

I'm in the same boat, its over, had a good cry, over it, time for something new.
Something more fresh, someone abit younger without being douchy younger. Someone unbroken and full of vigor, spunk and fluid.
I listen to dr steve, old XFM Ricky Gervais Show episodes. What else is there, Adam and Joe had something going... But now they are also bearded old men who's spark seems lost.

The WTF podcast can be interesting when he has good guests. Just skip the first twenty minutes of self-indulgent navel gazing.

Yeah XFM Ricky Gervais kept me entertained for years. All episodes are on YouTube and easy to find for download illegally (allegedly)

As AVCHD said - The XFM Ricky Gervais Show, it's the only radio show I know which was as funny.

the animated version is terrific

Fucking this. The podcasts were great, but holy fuck the radio days were so much better. You actually listen to Karl evolve into the persona that everyone knows. This and O and A are the greatest I've ever heard.

Some good (and funny) podcasts:

i just realized how good legion of skanks was, i always liked big jay but never liked luis gomez on YKWD but hearing him on LOS made me love the guy cause he's not cowering to stupid bob kelly.
speaking of YKWD as soon as i started to like soder, gomez, they got too big and now its another crop of comics i could care less about. he needs to stick with one or two comics, he totally ruined that show, it was perfect with him derosa and soder.
and fuck his stupid edgy radio intro "its like a comic hang...hang....hang" why does every radio show have an intro with unnecessary echo and phone effect.
"THIS IS....this is......THE OPIE...the opie.....AND ANTHONY CHANNEL.....and anthony channel.

Does Kurt Metzger still do YKWD? I thought he was pretty funny, but Bobby kept stepping all over him.

When it was just him and derosa it was my number 1 favorite podcast. As soon as joe left I lasted 2 more eps and haven't listened since

You can thank Troy Quan for the shitty over-processed intro.

YKWD's intro went from chill, laid back easily recognizable intro to horseshit morning zoo garbage. For some reason that really annoyed me.

Tell 'Em Steve Dave is a fantastic podcast. It has the weird silly humor of Smodcast (the Kevin Smith podcast) but with an edge and harshness closer to Opie & Anthony.

I think the Davey Mac Sports Program is really really funny, also old ones are totally listenable. I listened a lot around 2011-2012, he's a good storyteller, has funny music, pepper hicks, and he even would start on bits that would shock me (in a good way) as a former O&A listener.

Ron & Fez is my favorite, but Bubba the Love Sponge has been my morning go-to since Anthony got fired.
Bubba is an aquired taste, but it's probably the funniest show on censored radio. It's fast-paced, topical, well-produced, and "Ned" is one of the best radio characters of all time.
The show is available through RadioIO.com, but I use the TuneIn app and hear the show live on RadioIO Bubba One on weekdays, then there is a 3 hour replay of that channel on Bubba 2, and weekly shows are broadcast in blocks on the weekends. There are some specialty shows, too, but The Ned Show is the only one I like.

Couldn't agree with you more. Ron and Fez are the best alternative, and bubba isn't horrible. If it weren't for Ned, I wouldn't listen though.
Another show that has been filling the O&A void for me is Kidd Chris. He's pretty funny, and kind of has the same views on news stories that O&A had. You can listen to him on the iheartradio app.
Other than Kidd Chris and bubba…..I haven't found anything else that is worth a listen. I subscribed to the Anthony Cumia show, which really isn't that bad, But Ant needs a cohost to take his show to the next level. The shows where he had guests in like colin quinn and nick dipaole were the best so far. I honestly would love to see The Anthony Cumia show with Nick Dipaolo
