When he was commenting on Ant's legs on TACS he mentioned a scar on his leg where a vein was removed for heart bypass operation. A joke or reality? It's an old school Italian thing. You don't talk about that kinda thing outside of family because it makes you look weaker and it's morbid. Like if everyone knew Ant had the heart attack they would treat him different, try to get him to change his lifestyle, etc.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty certain having a stent and having open heart surgery are 2 different things.
A stent is a spring shaped device implanted in the affected arteries during an angioplasty. This is a minimally invasive procedure - done through the groin.
A vein taken from a leg is indicative of bypass surgery - which is a major surgery, requiring arteries in the heart to be rerouted.

You only see from his knee to his ankle - they don't always cut your whole leg open, my uncle had a stent, and they cut him high up on the thigh.
The clip I'd look for is Ant with no shirt, look for the chest scar.
