The show is way better than O&J. You catch some conservative talk but, it's better than listening to Opie give his opinion on things he knows nothing about.

Just watched Nick Dipaolo's episode. I think I'm gonna extend my subscription, I'm sure he'll be getting a lot more subs now that O&J are on vacation.
I'm very happy for Ant.

People always says he spends too much time on politics and race. Not from the shows I've seen.
Like when Nick DiPaolo was on, people who didn't even subscribe to the show were bellyaching about how it was going to guns and race and politics for 2 hours. It wasn't even that stuff for 20 minutes.
Anybody who hasn't subscribed because people are spreading false info about the show and think it is the Anthony Cumia Stormfront Variety Hour should realize it isn't like that and just subscribe already.

I've seen the callers bring up race more often then Anthony, he will usually have a few min about something political/racial and then move on to other topics for the rest of the show. And when the callers do bring up race sometimes you can see even Anthony is tired of it.

Agreed, I've always thought a certain sect of the o&a fanbase was more racist than ant and they sort of steer the ship in the general direction but what do I know

I think it is more that people feel the need to call the show, but ant wont let you stink up the phone for too long like Opie would, so the callers bring up a topic that they figure ant always wants to talk about. People need to get it that just because you have a phone and his show is on doesnt mean he needs to hear from you, wait for when you have something on a topic that is being discussed.

Should I edit it or just let my stupidity stand there?

I like it.

I never thought I would enjoy two guys ranting about the Sopranos for twenty minutes so much, I just wish the show as longer.

Welcome! I think you're in for a treat. Definitely check out the Dice episode and the East Side Dave episode. So far Ant's been doing a real bang up job. It's completely surpassed O&J for me.

It's a great show. I really appreciate the amount of work that Ant and his crew have put into both the content and the production of the show.
Ant really seems like a likable guy and he's made me laugh so much over the past 10 years that I'm really happy that he's having the success that he is. He deserves it.

I wish him continued success!

I'm very close to signing up as well.

"very close" to a $7 purchase?!? I believe an "atta girl!" is in order.
But maybe take the weekend and "mill" it over, as Opie would say; you don't want to overextend yourself, and subscriptions are non-refundable.
Perhaps you could take in a neighbor's laundry and pay for it that way.
No ticky, no Antnee!

I'm working on sticking to a budget. I'm really high maintenance.

Are you talking proximity to your computer? Cause that's how I took it.

I just want to see Nick's episode. If I likey, I'll sub.

Nick, Colin, Dice & Bobby were all pretty good. Yesterday was the best solo show so far I think.

Do any of his episodes have variety throughout the episode? I ask because I am interested in signing up but I don't like the 2-hour long interviews that much. I watched the free episode with Bobby and it was good but I didn't make it to the end.
Do the episodes have multiple topics and guests like OnA, or is it more of a long-form talk show?
2 freeponyrides 2014-08-29
When the show has no guest he does a bunch of show prep. It's at least 3 or 4 topics with videos and pictures ready to go. He goes to the phones for a while but doesn't let idiots stay on for too long like Opie loves to do. He just got phone screening software so the quality of calls should go up. When the guest isn't an O&A regular he only has them on for half the show or less, except for the second Bergin show which I skipped. The show rocks and has been getting tighter every week.
1 Mindfulvinyljunkie 2014-08-29
Yeah he covers a lot of different things and goes through some clips. The guests are awesome thus far. Also little jimmy will be on Tuesday. I'm going through the episodes I missed and am already "all in" for the year.

I like the conservative talk. It's refreshing when you are inundated with liberal talk everywhere else.

Sounds like the same thing.
