I think Anthony definitely reads this sub - it probably gave him some hope in the early stages of planning his new show.

I also think Opie reads this sub, too. He probably created "Is that TODAY'S problem?!" While browsing.

It seemed he listened to a lot of feedback from this sub (and other areas) which is a great idea. A lot of the things I thought that would be of concern for the show are completely a non-issue now. I've listened to a few episodes and they are great. He's managed to do what Sirius couldn't, in what, a few weeks time?

The difference between Opie and Anthony: Anthony mentions things like reddit and twitter in a brief, fun way. Opie rants about the haters he doesn't care about for 45 minutes and ALWAYS caps it off with "whatever...."

Don't forget: "Maybe this show isn't for you." or "The show may have passed you by". No doubt about either of those at this point.

You also should mention that Opie and Anthony will read very different things on reddit and Twitter

They pretty much all do based on comments on the show from them saying "fuck messageboard assholes, etc" Some of them definitely have google alerts on their names. I mentioned Danny only by name once on a board and he messaged me via twitter telling me to fuck off. He messaged a friend on facebook telling him to fuck off because of something the friend wrote on a messageboard as well.

They all read this sub, Sam rips all the dumb assed Bobo and lady di shit from you stupid asses who follow those nobodies and report their every move.

This place is a supermarket rag mag, perfect for Opie and the brand of show he wants to do.
